eVod head rebuild my experiment

Been vaping for about 8 weeks using clearos. Got the eVod two weeks ago. First head lasted about a week. The second for two days. Found out how to take it apart and off I went. First I replace the two wicks with cotton. Then I found nichrome at the Hobby store. The first one I did free hand.
It's been working good for the last couple days at 1.6 ohms. I used two wicks inside the coil. Second one I did failed. Thought of a way to do the next one that works pretty good. This one is like the premade ones. One wick inside the coil and one on top. This one is 1.8 ohms.

I'm going to hold off on the next till I've vaped this one for a day. And I keep a premade with the wick changed just case. Sorry for the blurry ones it's late for me. That's it just thought I'd share.

Thats a pretty build you got there. Now to see how it performs - i worry that it may leak because the wick is not really dense. But i could be wrong.

So far today it's working great. No leaking or dry hits. Flavor and vapor is there. So far so good. It's better than the wick it comes with. At least to me.

The EVOD seems like easier to rebuild than the T3BCC. Cutting the extra Kanthal in that little bit of space is a pain. I rebuild mine with SS wick and it works great.
