Hey all. So a guy here at work is having problems with his Evod tank. It keeps leaking and generally performing like crap. The last time he had a problem I looked at it for him and the top O-ring was missing from the base. I have a small kit of parts I carry with me so I was able to replace the O ring and I threw on a new coil. When I put it back together I noticed the seal on the coil wasn't mating up with the tube in the center of the tank. The tube is actually shorter than the ones in my 4 evod tanks. The base also only has 2 air holes in it, drilled a bit higher than mine. I put another of the cap seals on the coil upside down to get it to mate up with the tube. He said it worked great, for a while.
So I am thinking this is a knock-off. He told me he bought it at a local B&M, and they said it was an Evod. He brought it back to me again today for the same problem and after looking even closer I can see the tube inside of the tank seems to be thinner and /or the bottom of the tube isn't flattened out. It looks almost sharp lol.
