Evod replacement coils taste like soap

I bought a 5 pack of Kanger evod coils from Sure vapes and I just put one in my evod and it tastes horrible. It kinda tastes soapy. Is there something I can do to fix this?
Help please! I really love my evods and want to be able to use them.

Hi Susiejo! Before first use did you rinse or clean the new head? If not, unscrew it from the base and clean it. I rinse it in hot water, blow through the battery end, and dry it with a paper towel. You can also give it a soak in ever clear or vodka, and let it dry. Bad taste should be gone! Be sure to give it a break in period. After the first tank full of juice it should be good to go. Hope this helps.

Thanks SAG! I am just now learning how to clean and dry burn my heads so I wasn't sure if new heads needed to be rinsed or washed off or anything.
