Bit of a statement mixed with a question. My vaping evolution sought more vapor, like fill a room more, ever more and more. Then the high VG juices started to taste "steamy" and the nic hit became short lived, throat hit too smooth. Simple, I added more flavor to the juices, became a wicking snob and upped the wattage. But the "steamy" quality just wouldn't fade to the background -- something important was lacking. I just couldn't figure out what was wrong. I admit it; I almost started craving a, gulp, (in hushed tones) cigarette.

PG, after all, in the early days gave me a scratchy throat and the vapor production was laughable. In desperation, I broke out an older bottle of the stuff with the green leaves on the label that flows like water (you know the stuff, everyone has some in the back of a cabinet or a bottom drawer). Vapor is non-existent but it has some of that that indescribable richness I remember, not the "steaminess" of the present.

So I broke down and ordered a few bottles of plain old PG based juice with a hint (15% or so) of VG. I've made it full circle. That promise of VG with its beautiful clouds will soon be but a faint memory of hope and faith and ultimately failure. Lol.

So, to the question, I'm guessing I'm not the first to have made the VG pilgrimage, only to shamefully return to the tried and true of PG, despite my screaming and kicking to try everything else in resisting that inevitable need for a decent nic hit with some rich flavor. What say you fellow Vapers? Is this the typical cycle or am I just nuts lol?
