I was thinking about getting a kick and seeing if I can get it to work with a V-mod XL. The battery size is correct but I'm not 100 percent certain it will fit and I'm not sure if it will cause any problems. Has anyone tried using one with A V mod or something similar? What was your experience? I know that it's not on list of tested devices but I think it should work. I just wanted to know if anyone else has already tried it.

Hi Carthoris, In Short answer, Yes it should work. I think with the size constraints of your Vmod you will need to get yourself some 18500 batteries to accomidate the kick's added length. But with those things in place there is no real forseeable reason it shouldn't function. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

This is a crude way to do it but it works and its quick and doesnt require any soldering (there are better ways out there) anyway to begin get some copper foil off ebay and line the battery compartment with it and connect it to the negative spring at the bottom. Then get 1/64" or .65mm thick copper and cut a cirular piece abou the size of a penny. Put the round piece of copper at the top of the compartment where the positive button is and then the kick then the battery. It works well I have not had any issue with this method at all. You will have to use 18490 batteries though, Like i said there are other ways to do it with a 18650 but anyway here are some pics to show how i did it.
