Ex Drum Gold Smoker - 11mg Way too Strong

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if there were any ex Drum Gold smokers out there and what strength you started on. Got a Jacvapour V1P today, really pleased with the hardware, but the 11mg e liquid is really strong to me. I smoked equivalent of 1 cig and 6 hrs later I was still buzzing from it - and I was worried it might not be strong enough!

Anyone else find this?

You could but some PG and/or VG and dilute it but you will dilute the taste

I got it from Jacvapour. I've ordered some 0% Black Cherry from Decadent Vapours to dilute it down with - but I'll have to wait a few days for the post I'm not massily impressed by the flavours of the e-liquid from Jacapour so thought I'd try one that's supposed to be a premium brand.

I'm currently just taking one puff every time I get the urge to make a roll-up.

Could be the juice not the nicotine content ? As far as eliquids go 11mg is a very low concentration of nicotine I went from benson and hedges silver ( about 16 a day ) onto 24 mg nicotine and aside from a larger throat hit I got not negative side effects from vaping that concentration

Maybe the vendor made a mistake. It happens. Get VG from Walmart for $3 and dilute it just a bit. If it's a strong flavor you won't tell the difference. But something just doesn't sound right on this deal. I smoked 2 PAD and have vaped up to 36 mg and loved it. My usual is 24.

As others have said, 11mg shouldn't be too strong for you.

I've contacted the vendor to check - the bottles say 11mg on them though. Yes I agree with you Chrissie - didn't think 11mg should be too strong, do you know of any actual shops in Cornwall that sell supplies?

The smoking experience, throat hit and vapour is all really great - it's just the nicotine content that's the issue. I haven't felt like that since I tried to smoke a whole cuban cigar with a friend after my last uni exam many years ago!

I'll probably have to go for mixing my own stuff up as the choice of lower nicotine content is quite limited compared, as I still want to vape the same amount as I smoked as I enjoy the physical act as well as the nicotine.

No e-cig shops in Cornwall - yet Plus as you have a Jacvapor e-cig, you are going to be limited were you can buy spares from as it has a KR808 thread rather than the much more popular 510 thread.

Hi draystone - even if the nic is a bit too high you shouldn't be buzzing 6 hours later from a bit of vaping. If it were me I'd toss that juice.
I used to smoke 40-50 Port Royal a day. When I started vaping I used 18 mg mostly which was fine (once I figured out nic levels for myself). I vape 12 mg now with no problems.
I noticed that JAC Vapour sell either PG or VG juice but don't seem to sell mixes that are PG/VG. PG enhances the throat hit from nicotine. So it may be, if you have 100% PG that it is hitting stronger. But even so, it shouldn't have that kind of result. 11mg is a lower level for nic.
If you were quite a light smoker - like just 2 or 3 a day then maybe go down to about 6 mg.

Annoying about the KR808 thread on my Jacvapour - good to know what it is. I wanted something as close to my rollies in looks so got the V1P pack with white batteries and carts - in time I'll probably move onto something that doesn't resemble a ... but I need that little crutch right now.

It is hard to know if I've got a bad batch of e-liquid as it's my first time - although it is unlikely as I've got three different flavours and it says made in china by Dekang (which are supposed to be good aren't they?). Still waiting to hear back from Jacvapour (I only sent them a message yesterday evening though).

I'm liking the first health benefits of not smoking too much to ditch the liquids and go back to smoke - I'm just being ultra careful with it, one puff... wait a while...still fancy a rollie?....one more puff. Two puffs on it equal one rollie for me.

I'm going to mix 50 50 with 0mg Black Cherry VG (I've got all PG Red USA Mix, Virginia and Cherry) as I used to like mixing in some cherry baccy with the drum, so it should give me 5.5mg?

......Although if 2 puffs on 11mg = one rollie, I probably need about a 2mg to get my 10 puffs I want?
