I started DIY, and even my first try was good. Yes, I do it to save money, but more important, I can make my own concoctions.

Making your own juice carries a caveat, handling nicotine can be extremely hazardous! Make absolutely sure you follow all safety precautions. Even a small amount that make an adult ex-smoker sick can kill a child or pet.

I don't get the point of vaping bad tasting juice just to save a few bucks.

The VG is naturally sweet. Ecig express is a great place to get started. Get a 12mg (or higher) nicotine base with a 50/50 pg VG ratio. Then buy some flavors. Flavors are usually all PG so at 12 to 14 percent flavor your ratio should make it thin enough for cartos and tanks. Just remember anything you add to it also decreases nicotine levels.

I can make my own juice for $2.18/30ml at 12 mg and any flavour i want, with start up cost just $35,ya cant beat that, thats 480 ml 12mg for $35.00

yea i buy bottles of 500ml unflavored 24mg nic for about $25 and have found many great stores for flavorings that are very cheep and now save tons of money on liquid, about once a week i mix up a few bottles to steep but i also fill up about 5 extras with just unflavored nic juice(about 8ml in 10ml bottles)and if im craving a new flavor or have an idea for a new flavor i just add those flavors to them and try it out and if its good ill write down the recipe and let the bottle steep for a week to be sure the flavor didnt change for the worst before re creating it again:)

great places to get unflavored juice are wizardlabs and myfreedomsmokes i prefer myfreedomsmokes because there liquid comes in glass bottles and preserves the liquid better.

There's not a thing wrong with DIY, I salute those with the time to fool with it, but when I open a thread titled "Excellent Juice Prices" posted in General E-Liquid, hopefully everyone understands why I was expecting something other than just another "DIY lecture".

If you hover your mouse over the thread title it lets you read a part of the post. This one clearly showed it was a DIY post. One day maybe I will do it myself but I am not very patient so maybe not.

Agreed!

I rather have someone at www.aliceinvapeland.com or www.fanceejuice.com or Heathers Heavenly Vapes, Top Quality Custom E-Liquids mix me a bottle of delightfully complex liquid that I can revisit over and over again than smoke stuff that's just smokeable myself.

These people spend their time creating complex flavours and nuances I could never achieve at home.

Vaping is a passion for me and I want to have the most enjoyable experience possible - not just to satisfy my nicotine craving.

Agreed, I do somethings well however I know when I'am out done!!

I thought the thread would be something like who has the best prices on "store bought juices", this thread seems to be about DIY instead. I can make my own juice for about $1.65 at 20 mg strength. Part of it depends on who the ingredients are purchased from. I also depends on the quantity of supplies purchased. 100 mg nicotine base is more economical than 12 mg nicotine base. 100 mg nicotine can also be dangerous if the proper precautions aren't followed. I can beat the price I quoted above, if I purchased larger volumes.

You can beat that by not vaping at all and spending $0.

Fix the title please.

The thread title got me as well.....I see nothing wrong with DIY but it isn't for everyone even if it does save money, quitting would also save money but I am not doing that either. lol I know I could never create anything even close to some vendors such as HHV....they have learned over time how much of each ingredient to add and how that flavor will change over time...I just don't have the patients for all of that. I will leave my juices to the people that have perfected the art :)
