I'm glad to see a takedown of the ANTZ, comparing them with the "Baptists and bootleggers" era that led to alcohol prohibition in the 1920's.

However, we do have rather a Baptists and bootleggers situation going on here. There are those who, as with the Baptists and booze, think that any drug use, even the inhalation of nicotine, is simply wrong, perhaps even evil. It should thus be entirely expunged from our society.

ANTZ are no better than religous fundamentalists in that they seek to use government to impose their views on those of us who don't share them--and criminalize those who violate THEIR idea of how society should be.

Both excellent articles!
Of course we all would like to know and be certain of just HOW safe ecigs are, and of any potential dangers. But if there was any uncertainty about their overall benefits up until now, I think the facts are beginning to overtake all the naysaying, hysteria, voodoo and witch-hunting.
