i've officially decided to stop smoking analogues. but my first experience was less than perfect. i ordered a starter kit from premiumecigarette.com in a vanilla flavor and while it needed charging to get the full effect it was ok, but it tasted like vanilla extract which was kind of weird.

on day one i still needed a couple of analouges (4 instead of ) and vaped through 2 catomizers. then 1 per day over the next two days (with no analouges). but then the most horable thing happened, my last catomizer meant to last my last day before i get my kit from vapor4life on monday turned out to be a dud and i'm having to resort to some 11mg disposables and analouges. the 11mg just are not enough for me.

the only problem i am having now is that the analouges are tasting funky, really really funky. i'm supprised that they would taste so funky so fast and now i can't wait for tomorrow to get rid of these things.

i really do not recommend premium as they last almost no time and then the vanilla flavor is kind of funky but not unbearable. and do all e-cigarettes take 4 hours to charge?

Hey welcome to ECF!

There is a whole lot of information here for you. You are not the first to find out how bad cigs really taste LOL

No all ecigs do not take 4 hours to charge, my ego takes about 1 and 1/2 hours to charge and will last 6 hours or more with continouse use ,
I am assuming you are using cartomizers from v4l, they can be refilled with liquid too just so you know. It might be a good idea to keep some around :)

welcome to ecf!

I would agree that vanilla is almost the worst of all of them..lol

4 hours is about right to charge. it varies a little..

11mg is pretty low. I had to do 24-36mg to kick the cig habit when i first started.

good luck on your new journey.. there is tons of info here on this forum to learn from..

keep in mind there are lots of ecigs with some better and some worse plus refilling your cartos will save you money and taste a whole lot better too over prefilled you are buying.....

I've only been vaping for a couple weeks, and there is certainly a LOT of info out there on hardware, juices, methods, etc... keep learning.

I still hit an analog or 2 per day and its amazing how nasty they taste once one starts vaping! I always make a point to remember that I am shifting to a healthier habit and eventually to no habit at all.

After a couple weeks still experimenting what works best for me but I'd highly recomend fonding a USB passthrough if you sit by thew PC a lot at home or work, save those batteries!

I always recommend a 510 kit to start. You've already gotten your feet wet and decided you like vaping. So, go for an EGo, depending on your vaping style, (and it sounds like you're a pretty light user..), it lasts anywhere from 6-10 hours.

You're not the first one to find that V4L's flavors are either perfumey or just plain NASTY. :nah:

Do yourself a favor and go over to Tasty Vapor. Geoff can NOT make a bad liquid and, what you see is EXACTLY what you get. You order vanilla, it tastes like vanilla, etc.

Good luck!

it's just maddening with the wait for my v4l kit. i am hopping that the 24mg satisfies my cravings better than the 16 but we'll wait and see.

i'm not ordering from premium again, but i might sell my premium supplies to someone else looking to just try it, but i'll let them know how the vanilla tastes before they order the replacement cartomizers.

i can really see this working though i've allready decreased alot.

some of the people around me don't get it. like my dad thinks i should just quit cold turkey. but of course the last time i tried that i went mad in 2 days and couldn't make it.

i have not tried v4l flavors yet as i have not recieved the order, but there are always other options if they do not work for me, it's the premiumecigarette flavors that taste funky for me so far

yeah i'm concidering that after i find a good auto to start with. i wana start with the ease of smoking. though i am looking into some of the higher mah batteries to jump to after i try out the vapor king.

anyone know if the vapor king cartomizers would fit the premiumecigarette batteries?

if the cartomizers for the v4l vapor king don't shine, i'm gonna try tasty vapor, but it looks like i'm gonna be tearing apart cartomizers if i stick with the v4l vapor king

idontknowdu what pv do you use?

if i remember correctly i believe i have seen catomizer refill videos here and on you tube, it's not hard, i've taken apart a cartomizer my self but i could not fix it and get the filling back in. the cap and damper ring were easy to get in and out though.

just do not take out the filling on some of the cartomizers.

It's VERY easy to re-fill a carto! No need to take the caps off to do so either...use the condom re-fill method. Take the little rubber caps off the cart and fill them to around 3/4 full. Then, take your carto and SLOWLY push it into the condom and that re-fills it!

For a video on how to do it, just search the 'condom refill method' and about a million of 'em will pop up!

i've begun to stalk the mail person, my order should be here today, hopefuly before i go to work.

domino38 i've heard that that is not always the best idea for automatics, though i have not fiddled around with it myself. is this true or am i just misinformed, i'm thinking of ordering from tasty vapor today or tomorrow after i test my kit.

v4l has been nice so far when dealing with customer service, though waiting to try out their product.

Greenroot, it doesn't matter what style of battery you're using if you're refilling CARTOMIZERS, only if you're dripping or filling the 3 piece units. :)

When you finish using the condom refill method, you DO have to wipe off the threads and mouthpiece. It's also suggested that you give it a good, hard 1-2 blow through the mouthpiece end with a paper towel up against the thread end to ensure all the liquid is OUT of the mouthpiece section.

Shouldn't have any troubles using the C.R.M. though.

P.S. Damn, I wish you'd gotten a MANUAL..MUCH easier..maybe next time..

manual was my next choicethe auto is to just get me started. it's not like i'm worried about killing a couple of batteries off the start, just want the ease of an auto with cartomizers. i'm looking at a v4l vapor king xl manual batt as it seems the way to go the more i read.

should have done a little more investigation on my part first, but i like the auto idea from premium, just not the short battery life or the lousy flavors.

i realise the more i look into it the more it costs me.

my v4l shipment isn't going to make it before work though.

despite my wallets protest, i ordered a manual from v4l and ordered some juice from tastyvapor. it seems the next logical step and the recommended route for getting away from analogs.

i also ordered some blank cartomizers to try it all out

the blueberry cheesecake sounded irresistable by the way.

all my supplies are arriving in stages so that should keep things going smoothly

Glad to hear it Greenroot!

Just remember that, when you receive your liquid from TV, you may have to let it 'age' a bit..some people report that, when they first get it, they don't get a LOT of flavor. (Never happened to me, but that's because I'm in Toronto and it takes 10 days to get here..). If you don't taste too much of the blueberry cheesecake when it gets there, give it a day or two. :)

It's torture! :D Like having a brand new batch of warm gooey cookies, and not being able to eat it, but so worth it once you can.
