Note: I would post this in the Canada forums but I'm not allowed to.

Three days ago I saw someone vaping in a Burger King. After asking a few questions I decided to try it out.

After a brief search I decided on the EGO. I looked for Canadian suppliers for the faster shipping, since I didn't mind paying extra for speed.

I ordered an EGO kit from Happy Vaper and some e-liquid from Electro Vapers, since Happy Vaper didn't carry ones with nicotine. I placed both orders on Wednesday 2AM.

Happy Vaper was paid using my Mastercard (thank god), but Electro Vapers forced me to use e-mail money transfer. Now I realize that the other suppliers I checked out (only ones in Canada, didn't look at US) also don't accept credit cards, but as a new consumer in the e-cigarette world I keep having a nagging thought in the back of my mind: if porn sites so readily accept credit cards, why not these sites?.

Anyway, I sent the e-mail money transfer at the same time as my order and went to sleep

Thursday evening:
I check my e-mail and I'm delighted to find Happy Vapers has already shipped my order, forwarded me the tracking number, and the expected delivery date was the following day (note: I think they are based in Toronto as I am which explains the fast shipping time). Congratulations on the blazing fast order processing Happy Vapers. Too bad you don't carry juice for the wanna-be ex-smoker.

At that time, Electro Vapers had accepted my e-mail transfer, and changed my order status to "Processing".

Friday afternoon (now):
I'm expecting my EGO from Happy Vapers today.
When I started writing this post, Electro Vapers had no updates for me. My order was still being "processed". As it's approaching the end of business hours, I would have vented a bit about the difference in speed with the two suppliers. But luckily I've just received an e-mail from EV telling me that my order shipped!. On the tracking page I see that they actually shipped it at 9PM the night before. It's too bad that a few hours discrepancy between the shipments means I will have my EGO without liquids for 3-4 days :( I'm a spoiled consumer and I know it. But it's because suppliers win my money by spoiling me. It's something called "business" :)

So that's my review on my ordering experience with these two sites. I would order from both again. I have no connection with either suppliers personally and I gain nothing from this review. If you're one of these suppliers and would like to check the accuracy of my claims, here are my order numbers: HV: 6950, EV: 3074.

Since I might be in need of e-liquid for the next few days, anyone know where I can get a small quantity (good quality) in the Toronto/North York area this weekend?

Another correction: I misread Electro Vaper's shipment info. It was actually given to the post office at 2:30 in the afternoon. I apologize for insinuating that it was the fault of Electro Vaper when it was actually the relative laziness of the Calgary post office.

Both suppliers shipped on the same day. Both come highly recommended.

Calgary? Electro is in Calgary?

I am in the US and just ordered from Happy Vaper to get a particular Capella's flavoring they sell exclusively (Vanilla Custard).

Happy Vaper sells two of the most popular ecigs on this forum - 510 and its fat battery version Ego. I also see 306 whih you don't need if you have a 510-based model since Joye 306 attys and carts can be used on 510 with no adapter. Ego can use the LR 306 attys too. I know nothing about the other models they sell as kits.

But they do have another popular model as parts - KR808D-1 and the blank carotmizers are here
Blank (empty) cartomizers (cartridge + atomizer combined into a single unit) for the KR808D-1 model of e-cigarette.

I'm having some frustrating experience with Happy Vaper. Ordered an Ego Starter Kit late February. The price plus shipping was actually about $20 more than the Liberty Flights guys but no complaints because I was happy to have a Canadian supplier and people brag up Happy Vaper online.
Paid via online debit which is no problem and to their credit - they shipped quick and even more credit due they follow up with several emails, tracking numbers and 'get started guides' via email which are quite helpful.

Unfortunately, the threads were a little rough and the atomizer a little bent. No problem smoothed out after a couple of turns. Not too worried about those little glitches but does anyone know that feeling you get... that you got a bit of a 'wonky' one? It did work well until the first charge and about 1 hour in the charger went dead. Lights out. Yes I 'wiggled' the connections etc. I think I got the dud in the batch.
OK.
Let them know via email and they were helpful and let me know they would tell me when it arrived. Mail kit back to them (keep in mind that cost me another $10)
Canada Post reports delivery but no emails from Happy Vaper.
Days later I email them but no response. Another week goes by and no emails or parcels. Now another week (nothing in the mailbox or email box). Emailed them again a few days ago. Still no replies.

Honestly, I was kinda disappointed I might have gotten the 'dud' in the shipment and had to return it but then again if they just returned me a new kit I'd have been perfectly happy about it. Heck - forget the $10 return shipping cost and if they just threw in an extra atomizer or something Id have been perfectly delighted after all.

The thing I'm worried about is that they might have gone out of business or 'skipped town' (so to speak) and that is probably the last I see of my $110 I'm sorry to say.
Posting on March 18, 2011 and just wondering if anyone else here knows if they are still in business or for all I know they just went on vacation or maybe their email is down or what?

I ordered an eGo starter kit from Happy Vaper 2+ weeks ago. I ordered around 2 AM on a Thursday morning, they had it shipped out before 5 PM the same day, and I had it in my hand by 8 AM Friday morning. Needless to say, I am very pleased with them. They were extremely responsive to my questions (I had a few questions about the kit before I ordered it), and even sent a follow-up email with some basic tips on using and caring for the eGo. I would order from them again in a second.

Hmm. So your last contact was just about 2 weeks ago or so. I think that is the last time I heard from them or maybe 3 weeks now.
Maybe (just guessing out loud) the owner went on holidays or does anyone think it's possible they got shut-down for selling e-cigs??
I can't really imagine it but then again still no returns, contact or anything from them here on the 19th. Weird.
