Note: I would post this in the Canada forums but I'm not allowed to.
Three days ago I saw someone vaping in a Burger King. After asking a few questions I decided to try it out.
After a brief search I decided on the EGO. I looked for Canadian suppliers for the faster shipping, since I didn't mind paying extra for speed.
I ordered an EGO kit from Happy Vaper and some e-liquid from Electro Vapers, since Happy Vaper didn't carry ones with nicotine. I placed both orders on Wednesday 2AM.
Happy Vaper was paid using my Mastercard (thank god), but Electro Vapers forced me to use e-mail money transfer. Now I realize that the other suppliers I checked out (only ones in Canada, didn't look at US) also don't accept credit cards, but as a new consumer in the e-cigarette world I keep having a nagging thought in the back of my mind: if porn sites so readily accept credit cards, why not these sites?.
Anyway, I sent the e-mail money transfer at the same time as my order and went to sleep
Thursday evening:
I check my e-mail and I'm delighted to find Happy Vapers has already shipped my order, forwarded me the tracking number, and the expected delivery date was the following day (note: I think they are based in Toronto as I am which explains the fast shipping time). Congratulations on the blazing fast order processing Happy Vapers. Too bad you don't carry juice for the wanna-be ex-smoker.
At that time, Electro Vapers had accepted my e-mail transfer, and changed my order status to "Processing".
Friday afternoon (now):
I'm expecting my EGO from Happy Vapers today.
When I started writing this post, Electro Vapers had no updates for me. My order was still being "processed". As it's approaching the end of business hours, I would have vented a bit about the difference in speed with the two suppliers. But luckily I've just received an e-mail from EV telling me that my order shipped!. On the tracking page I see that they actually shipped it at 9PM the night before. It's too bad that a few hours discrepancy between the shipments means I will have my EGO without liquids for 3-4 days
I'm a spoiled consumer and I know it. But it's because suppliers win my money by spoiling me. It's something called "business"
So that's my review on my ordering experience with these two sites. I would order from both again. I have no connection with either suppliers personally and I gain nothing from this review. If you're one of these suppliers and would like to check the accuracy of my claims, here are my order numbers: HV: 6950, EV: 3074.
Since I might be in need of e-liquid for the next few days, anyone know where I can get a small quantity (good quality) in the Toronto/North York area this weekend?
