Hi. I received my 905 from healthcabin today. It is working well and vapes great. I only have one issue. It seems the "master switch" at the bottom to turn the device on and off is not working? It appears to be just a metal "knob" which cannot be depressed, meaning it doesnt move at all when pressing it. Can anyone explain if this is normal with the V2 905's? meaning that the button doesnt actually function? Very odd indeed!

Thank you for your asking.

the dse905 that you just got is the latest V3 dse905 without the botton switch.

hope your dse905 will keep up good work for you. :)

Can you provide 905's that can either do 3.7 or 6v vaping? There's a domestic supplier that's selling them, and it looks like they're doing a mod of your mod.

Also, I placed an order that's shipping as of 1/3/10 for a few 905's. Will they be the v2 or v3 model? Thanks, Clyde

Ok, I got my 905 and here are some first impressions.

It's a V3 without the switch on the base, which means it can be stood up on-end. Nice.

Very solid feel, the threads are well machined and smooth. The ergonomics are spot on IMO.

With the supplied 901 atty it has a mellow vape with lots of vapour and lots of flavour but less throat hit than a 510. I quite like it.

The switch has a very solid click and needs a firm press to activate. Coupled with its location on the narrow part of the body I'm not worried about it getting accidentally activated in a pocket. On the other hand, I wouldn't want to leave the atty attached in a pocket for fear of it getting snagged and breaking off at the base.

The down side is that it did the zombie activation thing on me one time. Atty heating up, no light. This was just after I'd taken a puff and I went to put the 905 down and heard it sizzling. I didn't give it time to see if it would switch off by itself, but unscrewed the atty to cut the power. I screwed it back in again straight away and things were back to normal. Next time I'll try pressing the switch again to see if that will turn it off.

That's a pretty bad down-side :( Not enough to make me give up on the unit, but I don't *trust* it and find myself listening for a sizzle after every puff and unscrewing the atty every time I put it down.

Follow up:

My 905 hasn't repeated the zombie activation, so I'm beginning to think it might have been the self-cleaning cycle arriving early. I still don't like it (the unit should only turn on when I tell it to), but I'm starting to trust the 905 again. Everything else is still fine :)

Well after 3-4 weeks of use the activation switch on the side felt off/broke. I dont know how, the button just felt off somewhere. :-( Was able to fix it by gluing a button I removed from a 510 battery. It fits perfectly in the 905 upper cover.

I did get one occurrence of the self (zombie) activation. I felt this burning sensation on my leg, took the 905 out of my pant pocket and I could hear the cartomizer burning. It got so hot, it peeled the paper wrapper around the tube. When this happens the led light does not go on.

I unfortunately did not purchase my 905 from Health Cabin. I am wishing now that I did!
Not sure if you can help me or not. I purchased my 905 from someone here in the US. I asked if it was a V1 or V2. I was told it was a V2.
When I got it in the mail it was obviously a V1. I was told that a new top piece would be sent out.
Here is my question. From what I understand, the V2 battery housing is encased in plastic. Not just the top part. If I am getting just a new top piece am I going to have the potential for a short circuit? I feel like I paid for a V2 and if the bottom part of the device is indeed encased in plastic I should have that piece sent to me also...

Is this worth fighting for a new devise?

Any opinion is helpful, since I am stuck with a V2 instead of a V3 and really have a V1. lol

Who ever you bought it from blast his ... on the forum!!
Give him a warning first, I'm betting he'll refund your money!!

Ditto.... try and resolve it via PM's and/or e-mails with the vendor. Either way you can eventually post how good or bad the customer service was, if you want to.
