Hey guys, does ElectroNicStix have any plans on producing an extension sleeve for the megalodon so we can use an 18650 + the Kick module?

I haven't heard about any plans for an 18650 kick extension yet and neither has Rob, but I'd be happy to ask Jason about it today 
That would be great if he could check with the manufacturer. I am sure there would be interest in one.
If not I'd say it'd be fairly simple and not outrageously expensive to take the current middle sleeve to a machine shop and have them bang out an extension for it. Just need measurements of the kick module.

Maybe we could use a 18500 battery + Evolv Kick module on The Don, without a new extension. But it is all about the Kick dimensions.
I'm reasonably sure it will work with the 18500. I'd just like to keep using the 18650's. I know an extension sleeve is in the works for the Silver Bullet, and hope one is also for the 'don.
I asked, and there are currently no plans to produce an extension for the kick. Yes the kick will work in the don with an 18490 or 18500.

I'm gonna wait to find some exact dimensions of the kick and then head down to a machine shop that's down the road from me and see how much it will cost me to fabricate a small sleeve that will go in between the middle sleeve and the bottom button section to give it the clearance needed.

Anytime I think you'd be happy with a kick in your don, even without an 18650. 18500's are still excellent cells to use. 1600 mah is plenty enough battery life to get me though a day.

The only reason I want to use an 18650 is that my fiance uses my don while I am at home. 2 People vaping on an 18500 will eat it up.
I can't imagine it's going to cost much to have a maybe 1-2" section of threaded aluminum made. Once I get a price on it I'll let people know on here and see if anyone else is interested in it, maybe get a bulk order going?
I agree that the battery life will probably be adequate. I'm just not really looking forward to laying in a supply of a whole new battery size.

Thanks. A correct sized extension would be handy to have for use in mini mode as well.
At first I was thinking of just having them machine a whole new middle section that was longer to fit an 18650 + kick but then I realized it'd be cheaper and easier to just turn the megalodon into a 4 piece beast by adding an extra section in that has threads on both ends. Would work in mini don or regular mode.
Just need to find the correct dimensions of the kick and it should be easy to do.
It might fit with a 18650 IMR battery anyway. I know that I have to crank my switch adjustment way up to have it make contact in the first place. Maybe when set to the lowest position possible it would fit.
I suppose its possible. But 15 mm? I don't think I am able to crank mine that far. I'm assuming that will be the kick measurement since that bat size is changing from 18650 to 18500. But it would certainly be nice!
