Extracting fruit\nuts etc to make concentrate

Hi everyone,

I can't find any info on what i would need to make eliquid flavour concentrate.

For example, if i have vanilla beans, what process do i need to take in order to get a useable flavour concentrate from it.

I have read some people are just leaving the item in PG for ages and then using that PG (think people do this with coffee)

Do i need a distilling setup?

Any info would be great as i can't find anything on the internet!
