With your particular goal in mind I would suggest two things:
1. Besides this international forum there's also a very neat forum for us Dutchies (Dampforum) - lots of good info on what to get where in the Netherlands and some local advice, possibly even group meetings or the option to visit a forum-member for help.
2. Walk into a good vapestore and ask. In Haarlem there are two decent ones but nearby Amsterdam is literally full of them. If you are not from the Randstad region both Utrecht as well as Maastricht and Eindhoven have their fair share of brick & mortars.

I'm sorry I can't help you as I'm no more than a beginner myself and strictly MTL as well but I hope the above advice may help.

Hi all,

So I've been trying so hard for a very very long time to get the most out of my vape but everytime it seems like I am getting rigged as hell by all webshops. Let me explain the story:

I currently have the Ikonn Eleaf 220Watt vape.
I am buying & buying new coils but nothing really exciting to join my friends cloud battle.
Why on earth are all my coils so low.
Webshop support says: yeah u shouldnt go to 220watt for the battery.

Now, I have bought the x4 0.15Ohm coil but this is also a big miss buy.
Can someone recommend me how I can get the most vapor out of my vape.

Will be refreshing for a reply

THANKS!

Edit:
Ohm: 0.15
Volt 2.77
watt ~60
I usually start with the recommendations on the coil from the manufacturer. It will say between this many and this many watts, for instance 40w to 80w. I start at 40w and taste, moving wattage up or down until I get the flavor and cloud that suits me. I have never had to go over 60w to find a good flavor

Okay, should have mentioned I'm a total (newbie) based on those names. What do you mean with VG Liquid?
VG stands for Vegtable Glycerine. “A VG liquid” is a mixed juice with a high percentage of VG. PG is I think propylene glycol (unless it’s polyetheline glycol. I always for get which. I’m sensitive to pg so I don’t use it. Don’t get it wrong though. One of them is poisonous)
I really need to look this bit up. Just ignore the pg stuff from me

Hi the Ello Comes with a card posted below and This might help you
Seems you need a HW3 Coil. Myself I am a flavor hound and in love with the HW2 coil.

Your tank should of had one of these cards in it - about different HW Coils that go into your tank
Here is a copy...seems you need the three hole HW3
I use the HW2 (two holes) Coils for the flavor hound in me and LOVE them so much I have been switching out all my tanks to Ello using HW2's.

More or less. The ELLO is a good DL flavor tank. Sadly the max wattage on really any 2 battery mod maxes out at around 160w with 30amp batteries if you want any kind of battery life at all. You can boost past that but it hits the batteries really hard and the pulsing can get annoying. Anything around 100w is more than a body needs for regular vaping though. I personally generally vape at 20-30w, but I’m a flavor chaser not a cloud chaser.
My knowledge of the ELLO and clearos is in general is pretty limited because I’m a wick and wire guy. If you had a wick and wire tank I could talk heavyweight exotic coils which help cloud production at the cost of basically everything else, but you don’t so I’m afraid I’m of little help.

Someone with more knowledge in that area will likely be along though.

Hi
New...so is it ok to reply or ask you on this area how you are liking your set up? I am using the same Mod and Coil and LOVE it. A new Ello just came out, on its way here. Bought super cheap around $16 oversea Saw one close on ebay for $31.00
Which number of HW coils are you using? For flavor I am using the HW2 coils
Picky flavor hound I have to admit I change out the coils once a week of heavy usage, how about you? Allergic to PG so use 100% VG and it handles it fine. I start off at 29w bumping it up by 3 as it cools down. End up around 38w then change coil. I MTL so have the opening about 1/4 open. What is your style with this set up if I may ask.

I don’t use the ELLO. I run wick and wire. The ello’s Rep as a decent tank is well known though. It’s what comes on the pico so it’s very common.

A ton of people are saying I should get new coils. But for making clouds... Shouldn't I get a dripper?

The issue is drippers are wick and wire devices. It requires different stuff. There are coils designed for cloud chasing as well. Generally gigantic 6 coil things the size of my thumb knuckle

First start googling info about how to install coils in rda's. Then vids on building coils. Do that for at least a week while trying to pick a good dripper, look at youtube reviews for every one you think you want and see how to build on it, how ppl are using it, and if it looks like it's right for you. Learn about battery safety and discharge ratings. Learn what type of coils you will need to make or buy to get your desired vape and I mean learn about them in detail, how they work, why they work. If you think "hey maybe I should do clapton coils" you should know why. Get a tool kit, even if you buy coils prewrapped you need tools to install. Learn before you buy or you will not be happy, chances are...

power vaping for the cloudz is like car racing... you need to understand how an engine works, get the better fuel, tweak the engine to the max of almost to a breaking point, test the engine several times while tweaking, and expect to loose alot of races in the beginning....
and the most important thing for cloudz... is lung capacity... without that it aint happening...

but if you want to play cloudz, buy exactly what the other guys are using, have them set it up, use thier type of juice...
and if you still cant make the cloudz like they are doing ( even with the same exact equipment) then its your technique thats wrong.

You are listing the "mah" capacity of the battery cells. That's how long it will last between charges when run within ratings. It tends to be LOWER on the cells you need. Look for the current rating, e.g. 25A (amps) and then uses Mooch's test info to see if it actually meets spec (spoiler: Samsung, LG, Sony are good if authentic).

The first post included this at the end:
    Edit:
    Ohm: 0.15
    Volt 2.77
    watt ~60

Why are you running only 60W? If you have found that's the highest it actually tastes good and not burnt, using the HW3 coil rated 50-130W, you're not alone in finding that they often aren't good run to the max. (or sometimes even as high as minimum). Good that you're paying attention to what you're getting. It might be OK at that highest setting if you hit in full "competition mode" every time, pulling maximum air through it to keep it cool, and don't care how long it lasts.

The HW3 has the highest ratings: HW3 Head - Eleaf electronic cigarette

So is the .15 ohm what the mod says? If that's with a coil rated .2 or .3 that's suspicious, usually it will measure slightly higher than the rating. Could have a defective mod or partial short.

While a regulated mod doesn't have to run around cell voltage and in that sense the 2.77 volt output is fine, manufacturers usually do try to make them work "OK" at around a standard battery voltage of 3.7 . So that also indicates you're not running as hard as they expected.

While there's a lot to be said for an RDA, prebuilt coils and tanks can certainly make some cloud now. In fact, in an actual competition there are rules that usually limit you to something less powerful than the biggest thing you can buy, that's what makes it a real competition. ... I suggest trying to get an enjoyable vape #1. Even if the individual clouds are tiny, if you enjoy it the room will be hazy soon enough.

    Learned a ton here, thanks!

What sounds extremely familiar to what you wrote is this:
I would go with their HW3 or HW 4 coils as a starting point.
When I bought my vape it came in with 2 coils.
    1 x HW3 Triple-Cylinder 0.2ohm Head
    1 x HW4 Quad-Cylinder 0.3ohm Head
That hw4 one produced MUCH MUCH MUCH more vapor while the hw3 did so much less like now.
So if I understood it right I should google for: "HW4 Quad coils much vapor."

edit: correct me if I am wrong haha

Yea, quad coils should be good. if you wanted to "cheat" a bit, try letting some air in beside the drip tip, and don't inhale only what the drip tip gives you. The trick, would be to get the right amount of air mixed with your vapor. I use this sometimes when someone borrows my meager setup, then when I take it back and take an inhale, I let some air in beside to fill more volume.. makes my clouds look bigger. :)
