A ton of people are saying I should get new coils. But for making clouds... Shouldn't I get a dripper?
Yes, but you need to learn how to build. It's not difficult but if you are serious about being a Clouds Bro then that is the route to go. No factory made coil with cheap Chinese wire competes.

If it’s a real goal, then for less work can’t you just buy a dripper and some prebuilt exotic coils and just screw them in?
If anyone is serious about it they'd learn how to build.

“Yeah that's why I'm asking on this forum haha!
I am searching all day for a good coil but in may I got my "Project X" home alone party and we are doing a cloud contest with friends so I need to win whahahah”

Not exactly synonymous with ‘serious’ in my humble opinion...

The biggest benefit of building your own is much better flavor at tiny fraction of the cost. Example on average I make my own SS fused Claptons for pennies that will last 2-3 months.

But yeah in a pinch you can buy from a decent builder for around $15 for a pair. Stay away from the cheap Chinese garbage

    Agreed on both points.

I build single macros with 28 for mtl so it’s not my thing but the guy doesn’t seem concerned with anything but gigantic clouds.

Ps. The most amusing and disappointing thread I’ve attached myself to.

I’m amused at the preface, disappointed in the fact that I’ve contributed.

I don’t use the ELLO. I run wick and wire. The ello’s Rep as a decent tank is well known though. It’s what comes on the pico so it’s very common.

HI and thank you bombastinator. The early Pico's had the Mello2 tanks I loved, then they changed into Mello 3 and I disliked them so much. It is the Ello 4 and it is the latest Ello tanks (forget name of course) that I am now so in love plus with the HW2 Coils. Oh and the Ello D25's were junk to me.

I am so hoping to heal an area where I can be doing what you are doing of wick and wire etc building. Right now impossible for my brain. Almost any math a no go right now.
And very much want to do DIY in making juice. Have the info but brain not computing and the things online to help figure it all out I get crossed eyed and confused. I am blessed so much in spelling, words and such which its usually back so grateful and grateful for your time to answer.

VG stands for Vegtable Glycerine. “A VG liquid” is a mixed juice with a high percentage of VG. PG is I think propylene glycol (unless it’s polyetheline glycol. I always for get which. I’m sensitive to pg so I don’t use it. Don’t get it wrong though. One of them is poisonous)
I really need to look this bit up. Just ignore the pg stuff from me
It is Propolyne Glycol, and it isn't poisonous. Actually it is in a lot of things we use on a daily basis, such any pills like aspirin, food, and if you look it up you will see a lot uses for it. We ingest it a lot of ways. It was added to Anti-Freeze to make it safer, contrary to popular belief.
