After having purchased e-liquids from a couple of different online vendors, I decided to give the Vapor Room a try at the suggestion of a couple of ECF'ers. I'm sorry to say it, but I am not all pleased so far. I ordered a 30ml Green Apple flavor of the week 18mg, 75PG/25VG mix and a 5 pack of 6ml sampler. Right away I tried the Mt Do in a brand new cartomizer and for some odd reason, it burned the carto, it's as if I had ordered 100VG in that the polyfill of the carto wouldn't absorb the e-liquid very well. I filled it the same way I have been filling all my cartos, the non-condom method, filled about 15 drops, 2-3 drops at a time and waited in between. Then I had read on the site about allowing the e-liquids to steep for a few days, so I did. I tried the green apple one next, it smelled so delicious and couldn't wait to vape it. I filled up my 3ml DCT the same way I always have, exactly the same way as the video that thevaporoom.net recently put on their for the DCT's, right away the carto burned, so that over a brief period of time the rest of the e-liquid in the tank eventually all turned to a dark brown color. So then I emptied that entire tank out and tried with a fresh 2.0 Boge carto, I had the same problem as I did with the Mt. Do, burned right away. So then I pulled out another new 2.0 Boge carto, this time filling it via the condom method. Well, this time it wouldn't hit at all.
Somehow when I tried the pineapple and red energy e-liquids (both 18mg, 75PG/25VG), I was able to get both of these to work in the 3ml DCT without burning at all initially, but now the problem is there is very little to no flavor at all. I compared the pineapple with that I got from a different vendor, the difference was like night and day literally. Same exact results with the red energy.
As you can imagine, I am extremely displeased with my e-liquid purchases and although I still have 3 flavors I have not tried at all, I feel that I might as well not even try and waste perfectly fine cartos....

You know...I've been ordering from TVR for almost a year. I've recommended to many people, etc. But the last t two or three times we've ordered, the juice has been CRAP and the shipping is taking FOREVER. I feel that quality of service has just gone to the wayside. The ONLY reason I order juice from them is the nic content. Nothing else seems to do it for us. But we've been lowering our nic content and we've adjusted pretty well. I'm fixing to switch suppliers. Give Vapors, Etc. a try. That's where we are going to order from now on. TVR has lost a veteran customer because they can't get it together.

That sounds like user error to me. I always order a 50/50 mix from TVR and I have learned how to never burn a cart.

You say you are using a tank? Place the cart 3/4 through the tank. From the open side pour the juice in as much as you can and then slide the cart all the way through. Put a drip tip on and cover the bottom hole on the threaded part of the cart and start sucking away, you'll see bubbles as the juice starts to fill the cart. Keep doing his until the bubbles stop. Take the drip tip off and top of the cart with 10 or so drops slowly.

Hope this works out for ya. I have been more than pleased with this vendor. Yes the shipping time and recommended steep time sucks. I think it's a small operation and they obviously struggle to handle the flow of customers coming their way.

I've had some time with their juices after the recommended steeping time (Around 6 days) and they taste great!

However, the pomegranate is not really working that well. The first 10 puffs were great, but there was a nasty burnt taste right after that. I dripped even more e-liquid in (used the condom method, tons of juice absorbed and let it soak for over a day) and it made it taste a little better.

The Port Menthol was great all last night and the Dragonfruit is working great today as well, but it did need more juice dripped in just like the Pomegranate. It's lasted over an hour now so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Could be the cartomizers themselves... I'll have to keep trying and see what's the problem!

Edit - Let the cartomizer soak again, only got 3-5 good puffs then it went back to the nasty burnt taste. Switched cartomizers so I'll let that bad boy soak for awhile before I try again.

I have been ordering from here since I started vaping a couple of months ago.

There are some juices that just must steep in order for them to be to my taste. I think that goes for most vendors juices.....and it does differ from person to person with taste too.

As for shipping time, I think it varies with how busy they get with their specials. If some of the more popular juices go up on that weekly special, I have noticed the wait time is a little longer, but I know there are vendors who take longer with their shipments as well.

It's a shame that you are disappointed. :(

I was in awe after reading this post! I have used TVR almost exclusively for around 4months after having various venders for the 2years prior to finding TVR. Obviously taste is subjective and what not. I use 50/50 blend and have used their juice while dripping in a LEO as well as DCT with Lavatube. (have by best friend vaping TVR with his 501 pen styles with rave reviews) After 3-4 orders I began adding a MINIMUM of 1 flavor shot, and usually opt for 2 as sometimes I have noticed the flavor being slightly muted. This muted flavor would be amplified with your higher PG per TVR website.

I see you ordered in 75PG/25VG which makes the burning of cartos really odd. Got no advice for ya there :( (I cannot logically think of how juice could cause this however) If you experienced juice that had less flavor than other vendors I would try getting a double flavor shot on your next order. Dont count TVR out, you may just need some tweaking of how you order there juice. PM me if you want to try a 50/50 blend with flavor shots Im sure I could send you a 1ML without issue. Hate to hear about your experience, but Josh and Jess have a great shop and I would hate for ya to never taste how great their juices can be.

ps My vapes from TVR are 555, RY4, Waffle, Various tobacco, and various pastry flavors.

Does anyone know if certain flavors burn too hot?

I've gotten 2 orders from TVR so far and have enjoyed them immensely! However, I have 2 liquids that just don't want to work.

I've been looking for some good fruit flavors to vape and tried a bunch of them out at 75/25, extra shot of flavor and the ones that work are great! Mt. Do and Sunkissed are good, Red Energy is AMAZING (Yes, I am one of the weird people who actually enjoy the energy drink type flavor).

However, my Sweet Watermelon and Dragonfruit flavors are unvapeable. I used the same method as all my other juices and the just won't work. I get 3-4 good puffs and horrible burning/crackling after that. It's very, very audible and it's almost like it's ROASTING the juices. way too hot.

I let them soak with the condom method for hours, sometimes overnight, and then blow out a little excess and vape it. I already ruined 2 cartomizers and am nervous about trying again and committing 2 more cartomizers to their doom!

I really want a good Watermelon to go to so I can't waste too much of the Sweet Watermelon sample I got!

On the edge of insanity..
I love the Vapor Room and highly recommend it to everyone. I am sorry for those of you who are disappointed. I think they are doing a great job and are very reasonably priced and ship very quickly also.
I will agree with you whole heartily on TVR's prices, but their ship times are really not that quick. Don't get me wrong, they are not that bad either. My orders get shipped out anywhere from 1 to 3 days, and I have seen it go as far as 4 to 5 days. That is ok to me and I understand that everything is made fresh. I have come to realize that when I make an order with TVR that it will take a week or more til I get it.

I don't know what is going on there? I have to use 100% VG juices and have never had a problem like that? Good luck and I want to try their watermelon also :)

Yeah my juices that are 50/50 work pretty well, it's just the 75/25 mixes that aren't working at all.

I got yet another cartomizer full of Dragonfruit, let it soak all night and it worked for a solid 20 minutes or so. Then it starts to roast the juice and nothing but gross burning/filler tastes.

Sweet Watermelon is the same way! It's frustrating because when the Dragonfruit has worked it's been a great flavor. But it just seems to burn way too hot, even at low voltages. 3 cartomizers so far and the same result on all of them.

JerryB... My friend Marie is a new vaper I got started with the TVR juices. She RAVES about the Sweet Strawberry, too! lol I just ordered a sample with my last order, so can't wait to try it! She and Rickajho both ganged up on me till I tried the new Peaches and Cream... oh my gosh... SO danged good! lol You might wanna give that one a whirl. I just ordered the Strawberries and Cream on special, and hoping like heck its as tasty as the Peaches n Cream!

As to TVR quality...You know, I've been vaping them around... um, maybe 6 mos or so now? Not quite sure. But I use them almost exclusively, and I vape a TON of liquids. I've also recruited at least 10 friends/new vapers/referrals to TVR, and of them, only 1 person wasn't hugely fond of the liquids. She did order odd flavors, though, and really doesn't like vaping very much to begin with. I will say that the TVR ones I haven't liked that much have been in the sort of 'sprite/citrus' sort of family, and sounds like a TON of the flavors you've tried have been in that family. You may well want to try some of the Bakery Blends, as they are totally different. I literally could not vape without my beloved Cinnamon Danish Swirl, English Toffee (now THAT one really does need to steep about 5 days) and Apple Pie. Also ADORE the Peaches and Cream, Peanut Butter Cookie, Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble, Sweet Tart, Vanilla Custard, Vanilla Cupcake, Banana Split (with a tiny bit of vanilla cupcake in it), and Chocolate Fudge Brownie (like that mixed with english toffee, as its VERY fudgey by itself).

As to your carto dilemma... I've been vaping TVR all but exclusively for mos, and the cartos I use 90% of the time are either Boge 2s and 3s, and 1.7ohm Smoktech single coils aka Resurrectors (which are VERY close to the boge, just lower ohm and more intense). I've never had any issues with the TVR juices, AND I vape 100% VG, which is much much thicker (and thus supposedly more 'carto killing' than a pg/vg blend). I have to say... I've noticed with some VERY thin juices you may be able to get away with a quick fill, vape, just cause the stuff is like water, and sinks in right away. However, with most quality juices, ESPECIALLY those made with a large amount of natural flavors, you really do need to either fill with a syringe (not my preferred method, but Rickajho, who posted above, loves it) or what I do is use the 'Taryn Spin Method' for the first fillup of all my filler cartos. It uses centrifugal force to drive the liquid down into the filler, so when its 'slushy' on the top filler, you know there's no dry spots thoughout the filler. And then I just top off, with a few drops on top of the filler, every few hours. My cartos last AGES. No lie.. I haven't 'killed' a carto dead in like 6 mos! lol I use them for about 2 weeks to a month, and then clean them with the baking soda/white vinegar/little bit of lemon juice in water method (look it up on ecf.. works awesome, and cleans the filler with a sort of powerwash method). Then I rinse them like crazy, use reverse taryn spin to get water out of the filler, and in a day, when they're dry, they're practically like new.

For a tank, all the same, except I fill the tank with a syringe, with the carto halfway in it, then use a syringe on the filler once the carto is all the way in the tank, to make sure i have COMPLETE saturation. I'm telling you... I don't know what juices you're using that let you get away without filling cartos thoroughly, but that's the ONLY way to make sure you never EVER get a burned taste. And works perfect, every single time, and as long as you keep them moist, your cartos will last AAAAGES and save you a ton of money.

Sorry for the long post, but it took me a good year of vaping to come up with that method. In the first year, I was condom filling, and had VERY erratic results, especially with the thicker juices. Its always possible you got a 'bad batch' of juice, but I think its more likely the cartos weren't filled very well, and you just chose flavors that may not have been to your liking. Good luck, though! Oh, and in the first 2 years I vaped, I tried a good 40 eliquid vendors. Not one of which did I like 1/3 as well as TVR, and CERTAINLY not with their amazing specials. But if you're into fruity flavors, I SERIOUSLY recommend the Peaches and Cream. And now three people I know are raving about the Sweet Strawberry, lol (can't WAIT to try it) so guessing that's a super safe bet, too!

as to the ship time... I order on average I'd say 2-3 x per month, and they almost always ship on the first day. I will say, the exception to that is when they're having a big sale. Then the shipping may well be delayed 2-3 days. But I've never met a popular vendor who's ship time didn't go way up during a sale cause their order volume quadruples. Of course it takes them longer. lol Plus, they are a growing eliquid vendor, so there was a brief period, after they got popular and before they trained help, when there was a lag in ship time. Recent orders have been back to their day to ship, max, standard, though. ;)

You need more than 15 drops in a brand new carto the first time filling.

I drip with attys and I find the juices from TVR to be consistently of high quality. Not every flavor is my absolute favorite of course but I've never been disappointed. The prices are good (they're in fact having a sale - code is RWBSALE - this weekend) and they ship fast and the postage is very reasonable. It's one of a small circle of vendors that I deal with in rotation.

just tried the Mt. Do, it was bad. I got the sampler as well and the Cinnamon Danish Swirl was good and the Very Berry was good. The shipping was pretty fast too, I received it within 3 or 4 days. I'm working my way through the other flavors in the sampler I got. I also got the free 3ml and free first 15ml so I have plenty to work through. The RY4 was not impressive BUT it was after the Mt.Do which was a hard flavor to clean out of my carto.
