Oh yes we have, but it isn't all that similar to: the peppery taste I'd get in liquids that I don't notice so much anymore. It wasn't strong, just a hint.

It's more like putting your face in a bag of freshly ground black peppercorns and inhaling deeply

With heavy flavoring we start at .25% - .3% to get a clearly distinguished black pepper taste. Of course, ymmv.

Has anyone used this? I'm curious about it because I used to really enjoy the peppery taste I'd get in liquids that I don't notice so much anymore. It wasn't strong, just a hint.

Have you been cutting nic levels in your juice? The reason I ask is that nicotine has a kind of peppery flavor....

Oooh. Yeah, ok. I love black pepper, but that sounds strong!

Well, I was at 18mg for a couple months in the beginning, but my ADV is 16 presently. So there'd be that much difference? I recently got my ADV in 18 (for those bouts of "crazy need more nic") and didn't taste the peppery aspect.

I haven't made my own, yet. My order came in from WL today, but I won't have time to work with it until Friday. I was kinda hoping for the peppery with the nic.

Thank you both for your replies!

Hmm. Here's a thought. What about putting a tiny bit in some straight pg or vg, then adding a small diluted amount to a mix? I'm new. I don't know....

That would work. Add 1% pepper to 9% PG then adding that in 1% increments would be equal to .1% of the the straight stuff. That should make it easier for you to be more accurate.
