Is there a way for me to disable this and set up my account via manual log in? Thanks in advance!

if you log out and erase your cookies you should be asked for a log in. then you can set up a real account
When I do that, and put in my username, it says it's taken already. I can't do PW reset because I never gave them an email address in the first place...I've only connected through FB and chose a username...no PW or email address necessary.
So do I have to register again and pick a different screen name, thereby losing all the posts I've already made?

When you used facebook connect it associated the facebook username and added it to the userdatabase, hopefully the forum admin can access it and hopefully get you a password
