Facebook is driving me crazy!

I keep getting friend requests from people I don't know. But maybe I do..if I want to spend forever reading their posts or checking out their friends in common.
Just now I finally solved the problem of Connie. She is from a city I never heard of but near enough to my ex inlaws. I figured she was possibly related to them since she had my ex's nephew and one of his other son's on her list. Then she gets MY son on her list. I figure she is just someone I forgot I met 40 years ago when I was married to my first hubby.
The puzzle was finally solved! She is my ex husbands brother's first wife's Aunt! I never knew my ex brother in laws 1st wife except through mail and a visit or two to my ex inlaws when she was still dating the ex BIL! 40 years ago..I never met any of her family!
I now have to figure out who Debi is! (another person who has requested a friends dealie.) We have 16 friends in common from my hometown..so I probaly just forgot her.

I've had that happen MK - a woman named Beth sent a friend request - apparently we rode on the same school bus in high school - she remembers me - quit a bit about me and who my friends were (she knows them too) - but I don't recall her at all. I went ahead and "friended" her - she's nice enough (and a little off-beat which is ok) - but it does make you scratch your head when they remember you and you don't remember them!

Happens to me ALL the time, I feel so bad when I do not remember them, but they seem to remember EVERY thing about me....makes me wonder what I did in my youth to be sooo rememberable

I call it the older sister syndrome. People a year or so younger then you seem to know all about you..but you were too busy studying up on the ones a year or so older to notice them!

I do wish Facebook would go back to the way it use to be though. It drives me crazy, just get use to it and they make change.8-o

I'm now having the problem of all the emails from Facebook about one of my "friends" giving me gifts on the games they are playing.. They must live on Facebbok morning to night.. I can't keep up

If you hover your cursor around the right side of those posts you will see a prompt to hide the friend or hide the game. I click on hide the game! I don't care about their score on Farkle or how many cows they need on farm world. But I do like them!
The only game I play is scrabble..with my son only and I take one turn a day.

Arrrrgh Matey! Go to your profile page and scroll all the way to the bottom. On the bottom left corner in little blueletters, click "English US". When the language selection appears, click "English Pirate". It's in the first column. Then watch and see what happens. Paste this on your status...to let others know! Brilliant. So funny!!!!

I'm REALLY starting to hate Facebook m'self..I have a niece that lives in Michigan. She's 12. She sent me a friend request so, of course, I agree to it. Now, I'm getting 20 emails a day showing me what HER friends are writing on HER account? WTF? How do you get rid of THOSE?

When you post on a thread you get emails everytime someone else responds..there has to be be a button or setting that says don't send e-mail!

there is a setting in there i will find it and post it. im on facebook a ton..lol i love the games but i have quit playing quite a bit of them. so i just ignore the ones im not playing and play the ones i do.
