I threw out my back yesterday, and am sitting in bed bored...and thought, hey, I just took 4 muscle relaxers....what can I do to pass the time.

This was the result.

I'm in the same boat at the moment myself. My sciatica started acting up 3 weeks ago after some heavy farm work, and has gone downhill from there to the point of hardly being able to move anymore ! And I refuse to take Phamaceuticals (ever again) since finally wiping my system clean of those addictive and distorting pills as of last May.

I think a diet of beer (only because I know you LUV yours, lol), and natural unmentionables are in order

Smokum, sciatica is something we treat in massage therapy all the time...did your doctor/therapist show you some stretches?

For my dad, I raise the affected hip to his chest, and keeping his back straight, I have him hold his knee to his chest, and roll his hip over to the other side, and hold for 30 seconds.

He does this twice a day and really feels some relief this way. Well, that AND beer.
