I am fairly new to vaping (5 months). I am using the kanger t3s clearomizer with rplaceable coils. I just found a new juice that I really love, but the coil only last a day before getting a funky taste. The juice is 50/50 Dragon's brew from ecblends, and I LOVE it. could it be the juice? The other juice I usually vape is Caramel Cappuccino by ecblends, which is also 50/50 blend. Is there a better clearomizer I can use that would give me better flavor for a longer period of time? If I have to change the vg/pg ratio, I wouldn't know which to change. Throat hit is more imprtant than vapor production, but I love the ratio the way it is :( Can someone please help me?

I use Kanger Pro Tank II. The coils are similar. It's been my experience that the darker the juice the shorter they will last with out a good soak/cleaning in vodka. Also, I used some e-liquid that was 50/50 and had a lot of frustration like you are experiencing. You might find just a little thinner mix will help. 60 PG/40 VG

You can try thinning your current juice with some distilled water. Some people have taken one of the 2 flavor wicks out of the coil to help with the flow of thicker juices. Here's a video-how-to. He's using his fingers to handle the wicks. I find using tweezers keeps them from fraying.

And welcome to ECF!

P.S. A good raspberry mocha flavor is G.T.F.O. by Mister-E-Liquid

Hey zipp06

that Dragon's brew is a creamy espresso flavor and in my experience creamy, sweet eliquids really tend to gunk up coils faster than others.

I normally don't like the coffee flavors so I have no experience to go on there but if your caramel cappuccino has not caused any issues with your coils I don't know what else

Do they seem to be the same consistency/thickness?

sorry I could not help further

I have the same problem. My fav flavor right now is Dabble Doyah by Mr. Goodvape. I love the flavor, but is is thick, sugary, and carmely. I am using the Protank Mini and the PT2. I have the same problem with coils. I clean mine religiously at the first sign of burning taste or funky flavor. I always use boiling water, but I am thinking of trying the Vodka instead of boiling water. Plenty of vids on cleaning them on youtube.

Lots of recommendations for the Kanger Protanks. I use one and also Innokin iClear 30, which I like a lot better.

These use 16 huge wicks which do not tend to get clogged up as easily as the Protanks. Easier top fill. They are dual coil, so the flavor and vapor is better. I use a few darker flavors such as coffee and this requires more frequent cleaning (I only rinse them out good with running water).

I suggest looking into rebuilding your coils very cheap and easy a word of advice would be dont throw your old coil heads away because in the future you will start rebuilding them and they will come in handy.I started rebuilding mine about a week after starting vaping now if I use a brand new factory head I strip it throw the coil away and rebuild before I use it they are junk otherwise look on you tube cotton wicks and micro coils you will be amazed how this will transform your vaping!
