I'm gonna make this as brief as possible.
I've tried a ton of juices, ew.
2/14 juices so far - ok. not too bad, nothing amazing - Pineapple; I'm enjoying this, but i can't vape it all day. Iced capp; 1-2 hits have flavor, after that it's just a sore throat (70/30 pg;vg)

I've decided to make my own juices; reasons?

1) I don't find mixes flavorful AT ALL. And i hate places that have weird-... names for their mixes that force me to click on 500 names individually to see what it is and read a ton of reviews bla bla.

2) It's more economical, I've got 200-300ml of e-juice just sitting around now because that 30ml bottle of banana has only used up 1ml. or the 40ml of redbull from 2 seperate vendors both ended up being ew. At least making my own juice, i can make 1ml of something and experiment.

3) I find it worth, I don't think it's fair that i pay $10 for a 30ml 0mg nic bottle of vegetable glycerin with 6 drops of flavor x that cost the producers less than $1 to make including the bottle. Meanwhile for my friends who smoke 12-18mg mixes it's ok because there's the added cost of buying nic-juice and the added risk involved when you DIY E-juices

4) I think i may be PG Sensitive but it's got me off the nicotine so that's ok? I've tried 0mg 70/30 mixes and I don't really like the throat kick, it's more of a choke to me than a little kick. I've smoked some harsh stuff (Mainly dokha/medwakh) and never felt so suffocated. 70/30 mixes with 0mg nic also don't allow me to take lung hits, or more than 2-3 hits at a time because otherwise it starts getting painful. I've tried 30/70 mixes which are ok but 100% vg mixes is what really allows me to smoke the way i want to. Another problem being a lot of places I've looked at don't have 100% vg or anything off 50-50%, or nicoticket which i read has amazing flavors doesn't have 0mg mixes for some of the flavors i checked out.

Currently, I'm planning on ordering ready-made juices from MTBKR because frankly they're cheap and I've read good reviews. Jugheads is well priced and i see amazing reviews but i don't want to wait until 20th (whenever i check their site, I'm on window shopping mode until at least a week or two later). and every juice from Canvape so far has been ugh, meanwhile their pure VG line only has like a dozen choices. Once again being wasteful since if i don't enjoy the 10/30ml bottles it go's to waste.

So, down to the final actual question i came here to ask, is there a really good place within Canada itself that i can order just flavor drops so that i can experiment with my own mixes? I've read that the VG at shoppers and Distilled water can be used as base, and i can just get the little plastic dropper bottles there too. I'd love to be able to mix/match my flavors and add/remove flavor shots with only 1-2ml of liquid and not worry about wasting another 30ml of it.

Alternatively, does anyone know any vendors that have extremely strong flavors, preferably coffee or cookies and cream kind of flavors, I want something i can really enjoy that has a really strong flavor which i can vape all day. I've got a nautilus w/ evic that's been able to burn my 100% vg mixes just fine, and my protank 2 mini on the ego-c twist seems to be able to handle it too. If anything, i'll grab a dozen evod bcc's or some smaller cheap tanks so i can experiment with flavors.

I've also got my current flavors steeping in the closet, gonna give them another chance in another week from now, but from experience, i probably won't enjoy them much.

extra: These are the current flavors i was planning to order from MTBKR, all MAX VG with +5 extra flavor shots;
Irish Cream
Cookie Blaster
Moo Juice
Coconut Cream Pie
Blue Moo
Banana Cream Pie

Another thing i should add is i need to start saving $ off vaping, so far it's been a week and I've spent $410, with another $165 cart at MTBKR (before tax) that i haven't checked out yet (bunch of flavors + replacement coils + another Nautilus + Aerotank).

Ego-c twist 650 + 1000MAh battery, EVic.
Protank 2 mini, EVOD BCC, Aspire Nautilus, IClear 30b, Protank 3, Ruined MT3, Some crap top-coil Vision Victory tank. + 14 bottles of juices.

I've also heard that all newbies go through a juice-burning phase, but with all honesty my smoking habits would cost me $1-day while this juice-habit takes me through like 5ml daily so far.

I may place my order by tomorrow night so it would be amazing to get responses before then. All help is appreciated! Thanks in advance and Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Wow-cost me 10 and change a day to smoke. Def change your Pg levels. That's where your sore throat is coming from. I like 50/50. Love Juggie's VG line. Too bad-he was open last night and has about 600 flavours. Can't help you with DIY and I don't buy my juices from Canvape, just hardware. Would recommend you check out some of B+M stores this weekend and taste juice before you buy, so you don't waste your money. Lots of people like Maple Leaf Vapes-they have a store. Check out the other threads on here for locations. Lots of places sell samples too, so you don't have to get 30mls of something you can't stand. Check out the sticky at the top of the Canada forum- you can get Canadian vendors pm'd to you as well. Welcome-don't give up- you will find what you are looking for. We all go through this:)

Welcome to Vapeing and ECF.

Flavorfog is in Canada and ships pretty quickly, they carry most of the name brand flavors etc, check them out, but the US will always be cheaper.

JUGHEAD'S is about the best in Canada, he has a big selection of premixed liquids and if u wish to know what something tastes like, u can ask here.

Since u like Banana Canvape has a good one in their EVO line Banana Blitz, I love it.

Your gear is fine, but u might want to get into RDA, rebuildable dripping atomizers. Canvape has a cheap one at 8 bucks the Octopus, but u will need to rebuild the coil in this type of device, but they offer the best flavor.

It's been 1 year for me now, and I've spent over 5K but am in the black by over 900 bucks. This for me now costs me about 100 a month or at least that's what I'm budgeting myself to.

I also am dabbling into DIY, as I make a flavor I let it steep after an initial tasting of about a 1/2 ml for several weeks, befor final tasting to see if I need to adjust or it's good enough to keep.

Happy Valentines Day to u as well.

Greetings; flavour is also a function your hardware - when I switched from an eGo started kit to an APV plus rebuildable atomizers, it really was like tasting my e-liquids for real for the first time. Now i'm getting hooked on certain e-liquids not just for the nicotine, but for the taste, too.

But I say this never having tried the Nautilus or Aerotank (I was using Davide=PT2, Vivi Nova, and Aspire BDCC clearos).

I'm surprised no one mentioned these two things:

1) Depending on how new of a vaper you are, you could be going through the "I can't taste squat" or "everything I liked tastes like crap now" phase. Usually happens within a month or two of starting after giving up analogs and can last quite a while (for me, 3 months). I would vape the nastiest tobacco flavoured concoctions available just to get any flavour.

2) +5 extra flavour shots? You won't taste anything, or it will just taste like chemicals. Anything with that much extra flavour is designed to be diluted and is really only helpful when they offer cheaper 0 nic mixes.

You can just buy flavours and use VG from Shoppers, I've been using it for a while now. Go to the DIY sub-forum and read through the lists, almost every vendor in Canada sells flavourings or you can buy right from the source (like TPA) for cheaper prices. Keep in mind that if you want to shy away from PG you'll need VG-only flavour.

Also, as was suggested earlier, go with a dripper for better flavour once you get past the "I can't taste anything" phase.

Finally, $1 day as a smoker? I don't know what the price of smokes are in Ontario, but here that is well over a week worth of cigarettes or roughly 2 cigarettes a day. If that was really what you were spending/smoking, I really wouldn't bother with vaping. No matter how you shake it, you'll spend more.

@Battlelance, that's really demotivating lol. Nobody ever told me about a "i can't taste anything" or "everything tastes like crap" phase. Although, nothing tastes like crap. I've still been smoking my Dohka (Middle-eastern tobacco) and since vaping I've gone from 10+ hits a day to like 1-2 daily and can definitely feel it a bit more.

and why would +5 flavor shots not be able to taste anything? Yeah, I'll probably end up DIY'ing 100% VG, i don't mind if there's a little PG in the flavor itself.

There is a point in vaping, just like bodybuilding, where you hit a plateau as your taste buds are coming back around that it is very hard to taste any flavour in your juice. When it hits I suggest changing flavours often or using flavours that have weak tastes. It will break Ina week or 2 and after that the juices will taste better then they did before.

It's all part of the cycle but going 5x flavour shots will annihilate your taste buds and make the flavour come back slower. You don't want to crush them while trying to compensate for the loss. Drink lots of water and switch from sour to sweet to bitter to dry and they will come back better than ever.
