This time, I tested the seventh in the fourteen-part "Fairy Tale" series, having already tasted six of them and made taste tests for the general public. I have to admit that this is one of my favourite series and I occasionally return to the manufacturer's products as they have never disappointed me. Sweets Strawberry Madness is a strawberry flavoured cupcake, enriched with a blend of vanilla and chocolate, not too sweet and with a relatively subdued intensity.
There is a slightly tart strawberry aroma with a hint of chocolatey cakey notes. It has a pleasant, not too strong scent of some kind of strawberry chocolate, which I couldn't quite identify at first. However, the first sniff immediately confronted me with the fact that it reminded me more of a strawberry Milka chocolate. From then on, I couldn't let go of that thought. As I continued to sniff and taste, I was reminded more and more of that particular sweetness, so the "cupcake" idea completely faded away.
The pleasantly tart flavour and slight earthy aroma of strawberries remained predominant throughout the steaming. The sweetness of the chocolate counterbalances the acidity of the fruit somewhat, resulting in a creamier overall effect, so the flavours meld together harmoniously. The name of the product may be a little misleading, as the sweetness is not as intense as one would expect from the picture and description. Although there is sweetness, the tart taste of strawberries remains the most characteristic.
Summary: Another creation from the "fairies" once again confirmed that this series was a great choice for tasting. Although there are more intense and authentic flavours in their 'garden', this one deserves to stand out with its unique and pleasant taste and aroma.
