got some low res cartos from CCV for dirt cheap. used three of them and they short out after half a day of vaping.. not cool. i use a Reo grand with two rcr123a batts. do low res cartos not have good chemistry with the batteries i have? or should i just take my business elsewhere? any suggestions or feedback is appreciated.
LR cartos should be used on voltages no higher than 4.2 or so...6v would be way much for LR gear.......

I've found that the best prices and selection are online. If I do see someone selling in a store, the prices are ridculous.
Does anyone have any suggestions about where the best place (online) is to get the e-juice? I'm using 50/50 PG-VG (with nicotine), but being new to this I'm not sure what I'm looking at online. I see lots of sites that sell the juice, but I don't know if it contains nicotine or not. Is there a simple online site for this? I've been getting my supplies at a local place, but they are only available on the weekends... which has me a little concerned because what if I happen to run out or need a replacement during the week. I've been doing very well with not smoking (as much... down from a pack a day to a pack a week or less) and don't want to worry about only having one outlet to buy supplies (I'm using the eGo 900 unit).

My top 3 juice suppliers; Tasty Vapor (sweet flavors. Try atomic cinnacide, pear marzipan), Juicy Vapor (butter rum caramel is the bomb! ecto plasm is a cool Hi-C drink throwback), Alien Visions E-Juice (go for either boba's bounty or gorilla juice. For an alcoholic taste). all of these suppliers give you nicotine strength options. You should check out Tasty Vapor for sure. Site design has a nice flow, is easy on the eyes, and will help you understand pg/vg chemistry.
Thank-you for this, it simplifies the searching I have been doing regarding the pros/cons of E-cigs. 
I've successfully gone from a pack a day to only 3 cigarettes a day. Next week we are going to try to step it down to only 2 a day. It hasn't been easy, but I will say this... if someone told me today that I had to make a choice which one to stop completely right now (real cigarettes or vaping), I would definitely give up the real smokes. It would be hard because I have been a smoker for 17 years, but I really do enjoy vaping so much more. Having only recently gone to e-cigs (the eGo 900 with various juices is what we use) I was a little confused about a lot of things. I have to say... this site has really shone the light on a lot of things for me and I appreciate it very much.
congrats on the switch. I went through all that early this year and now I only use box mod. Reo's mods to be exact. A lot less filling bottles and running batteries out. something to consider if you think you will continue
