Hello, I'm new to vaping. Smoker for 21 years. I decided to quit real ciggs a little over 3 months ago after having my first serious medical issue. I thought I was invincible to having medical problems until I woke up one morning with a blood clot. Since then, I have stopped smoking real ciggs and stopped drinking. 3 months into vaping and I'm loving it. I only wish I had started sooner! My current setup is the itaste SVD and a kayfun clone.


Before the Kayfun clone I had the Aquatank clone and I must say I hated that thing. Total juice waster! Before that, it was the iclear 30s, Kanger Aerotank and the T2's. I got tired of having to buy replacements and decided to just go with a RBA. I must say the Kayfun clone has been my smartest purchase yet. I can finally stop spending money every week on new tanks that I only use for a few days and then trash them.



I'm thinking about getting the Hades as my first mechanical mod. Any other suggestions for a good mech mod ?

Welcome to ECF and congrats on quitting My mech mod recommendations would be bottom feeders, not sure if that would be of any relevance here

Hades is a fine choice, I am assuming your open to the idea of clones, since you have purchased clone rba's, I would suggest clones of the following. nemesis, caravella, chi you, king, stingray, or turtlesip. They are all fine mods, and all have minimal cons. It all comes down to preference like anything is this vape world we live in.

Wow that's scary! Hope everything is ok now, and grats! 3 months is awesome Wish I had a suggestion for you but I've never tried a mech mod. I bet there is plenty of information somewhere on these forums about it though. Good luck on your journey

Thanks for the input guys/girls. I just don't want to spend more money on something I'm going to use for a day or 2 and then find something better. All of the tanks and ego batteries I own are nearly in mint condition because I'm constantly buying better items LOL. Should have just bought something nice from the start, to save myself from spending so much money.
