My 3/24 FT shipment showed up in Indianapolis on 6/29, reached the Pontiac distribution center on the 30th and reached me on 7/3. I've been lucky with that Pontiac center. Glad your order showed up in the state at least!
Detroit likes to send my packages to Pontiac on occasion too. I'm at 6 and Beech in Redford. 5 blocks from the western city line.

I'm like yoohoo. I'm over here. Not up there.

At least Pontiac gets it back to Detroit within a day. So that Detroit can then send it to Lansing. So Lansing can send it back to Detroit. THEN Detroit gets it to Redford. So Redford can lose it for 3 days, 2 and a half miles from the house.

This actually happened.

I had an RTD (PA) order visit San Antonio TX on it's way here to Mass.

In other news I'm spoiled on Prime 2 day shipping.
I ordered Jimi Hendrix Midnight Lightning CD (W German 1989 pressing) off Ebay.
It went from Chechnya to St. Petersburg lickity split but it's been there for 2 weeks now.
I hope they're enjoying it :blink:

I had an RTD (PA) order visit San Antonio TX on it's way here to Mass.
I think USPS needs to buy their people copies of "North American Geography For Dummies"

I had one go from NC to Phoenix, then up to Pittsburgh before finally making it to Detroit, where the fun REALLY begins.

Just got this response after asking again for a refund -
Do you mean you haven't received the package which has the tracking number -------------? We have asked our Post office to investigate the package now, once we have the update news, we will send for you asap. Please trust if the post office verified the item as lost, we will issue refund or reship the order per your choice immediately.


Apparently as other's have noted this investigation nonsense is just the standard company BS.
My response-
You said the package tracking would update in 3 to 9 days.It did not. You said if the package did not show up in 2 weeks to contact you.I did.
I will no longer wait.If I do not get a refund I will file a Paypal dispute.

Here's what usually happens. Case in point. I had a 3F order arrive today that I placed on April 4th. Shipped a couple days later. That's 107 days.

3F kept telling me same thing. Investigating, still in transit and so on.

They knew that if they stall long enough it will eventually get here, which it pretty much always does. Now it's here. They're off the hook and I'm off their back.

Can you imagine if they took financial responsibility for every shipping delay like this? They would be outta business and we'd have nowhere to order from anyway.

I say again. IF the shipping companies did their job, NONE of this would be happening. To us OR them.

Should have written in the same slang English as they do you and perhaps you would have received your refund by now. :D

They did say "will send for you asap". Free all expenses paid trip to China!!! :thumbs:

Please trust we have the same feeling as yours and we do hope you will receive the package very soon. But the packages in May are seriously delayed, most of them have updated recently. We think yours will arrive very soon. That's why the reason we asked you to wait a few days more. We know you have been waiting a ling time. We would like to offer the solution for you as sooner as we can. I can send an application to our company and ask them to offer the warranty for you first. Do you need us to refund or resend. So I can add your request to our application. Once you have received the package in future, would you please to repay back?

I guess I am just an old softy but in reality I really want my rda which is now out of stock.(except rainbow)
I replied-
I really would like the item I ordered but it is no longer in stock so you won't be able to resend.I will wait for another week to see if the tracking updates.If it does not I would like a refund. I will gladly repay fasttech if the item shows up after the refund.

My package finally arrived. It was ordered mid April and got hung up more times than I can count. When it finally hit New York, the tracking number expired, and I was about to give up... then, it was in my mailbox... just a short 3 months 1 week after ordering. In that time, I managed to source multiples of the part locally, so, now I have plenty of spares. Cheap and slow doesn't seem to matter as much as reasonable and fast any more... I still avoid gouging and immediate, though LOL
