Fasttech Orchid v6 Clone

I ordered one of these a little while back and it showed up today and I am quite impressed. I can not find the *real* orchid v6 so I don't know if it is actually a clone. It can not use kayfun parts as it is a new design. It is very similar to the Billow in performance and design but I have NO LEAKING. Not the most awesome thing ever but it is certainly worth the $11.

I'm planning on picking up a couple of these.I've been a big fan of and using the orchids since the very first version came out,and have said from the start,that if they would do a threaded chimney design to hold a glass tank,that it would be the perfect design,so i'm glad to see they finally came out with one.By the way,there is no "real" authentic version of an orchid v6,the only authentic orchids are the original that alot of people refer to as a v1,and they recently released a v1.5 that is the same as the original pretty much except that it has a 2 peice chimney.The sad thing is,the clone makers are making a better product and better improvements than the original maker haha.

It's ok but expected more.


I like the look. I like it is a glass tank and the edges are polished fairly decent. I like the air hole tubes off the deck. I like the 510 center post cap instead of a tiny screw.

Those tube IDs are less than 2mm, I think about 1.6mm. And the juice channels are so far apart given the size of the air holes and I think the channels are about the same as my Kayfun 3.1 and Russian 91.

Performance is like two Kayfuns, per side the wick length is about the same, air holes the same, juice channels about the same. Not sure why I expected more. Still a satisfying vape but I find myself grabbing other attys like the Lemo.

Looks like a Yiloong box to me. The tank seals were glued on but nothing a little everclear didn't fix.

And all of these through hole posts are drilled too far down so it cuts soft nickel wire. Easily fixed with some nubs of SS utility wire in the bottom of the posts.

Oh yeah and I just removed the air control screws.
