I haven't decided what to give him.
First you have to understand, I shop all year. If I find something that I think he'll like, I get it and put it up.
So far this year, I've stumbled across a LOT of stuff. Right now I've just about got everyone in the family covered for b-days, anniversary, Father's Day, etc, covered. Yes, Xmas too. :)
So basically all I have to do is go through it all and decide what I'm dragging out from the stash.
I'd tell you now, but I can't remember what I do have stashed.

Since my husband isn't my father I just do cards since the kids are old enough to get him something. Of course I always have to help pay for it ;) This year the kids are taking him to lunch since I will be out of town for a girl's weekend. He buys himself whatever he wants anyway so it's hard to get him something that he actually wants or likes.

Well, didn't you say Brian is a golfer so he likes the great outdoors.
Has he ever showed interest in metal detecting?
I know this came out of left field but most of the golfers around here are into metal detecting too.
A golfer/friend of ours got RW interesting in it---amazing how excited a grown man can get about finding rusty screws and $.47 in change.

I'd LOVE some ideas! Brian's older than dirt, so he already HAS everything!! :(

He LOVES gadgets, but the ones he doesn't already HAVE, he can't figure out.

See this is my problem...not the dirt comment..lol... but the he has EVERYTHING comment.
Hubs buys what he wants when he wants it, as he should, but it makes for hard gift giving on all holidays.
I usually just do a cookout with all the kids and we play softball, swim and have Wii tournaments.
This year, I am sending him on a fishing trip....that means spa trip for me:D

Already sent mr. MacBug his. Brandy/tea juice made with my own hot little hands. Cards from both the girls. a Passthrough (he's now in vape heaven) and sundry other goodies. He's going to be getting (or at least getting a consultation on) a tattoo done by this guy in Korea that's allegedly one of the best.

I've been taking my Dad out to Denny's for breakfast on the way over to see my mother at the Nursing home for a few weeks (and many breakfasts). He always orders the Belgium waffle. Said the other day while we were eating that he didn't have a waffle maker anymore (the one they got as a wedding gift 50 years ago wore out I guess, ha). So, I bought him one that also has removable heat plates to make sandwiches and grilled steaks/chicken too. I also got him a big jug of syrup and a good premade mix. I'll make him waffles that morning at his house!

Good thing I was paying attention that early in the morning for a change! At 72, he's hard to buy for.

My husband needs nothing!!

We we down to Tampa today so we could buy a water heater and new cabinets for the bathroom..trying to get as much done as possible before the move. When we got there my daughter took us to the local VFW for breakfast..Man! What a fabulous breakfast for $5.00! My son and both g'sons were there too as a surprise for Mike. Nice day and home before the storns hit!
Mike tried his new shaver, he said it was kind of hit and miss. Oh well he said he may just need practice.
