I bought three Vaporesso Delta Revenant Quests Squonkers a few months ago. I finally found the time to open one and check it out. Unfortunately, it worked as it should but only for a couple of weeks. After that, the Fire button stopped working. Pressing 5 times neither turned it on or off. Replacing the battery caused the display to light up but then immediately went blank. Ive never dropped it or have gotten it wet. I don’t even take most of my better mods outside.

I tried several different batteries as well as different RBAs with no change. I had no control over the settings although I was able to finally get into the Setup menu and tried to Reset the mod to factory settings but that did work either.

the two other Centaurus Quest squonkers worked just fine as they all should have done. I've contacted both Lost Vape and the vendor but they said it wasn’t under warranty anymore so there was nothing they could do which was very disappointing since I have spent thousands of dollars on Lost Vape and Vaporesso devices over the past 4 years.

you’re my last hope. I’d be happy to pay to have it repaired or even order a new one id I could find one. Unfortunately no vendors seem to have them in stock or don’t ship to the US.

Is there any way that you can help me in repairing or buying a new one?

Thank s so much! Sara
ps I can’t seem to up load the video of the mod not firing. Do you have an email that I can’t send it to?

Maybe someone knows better 'cuz i'm certainly no expert but it sounds like you just got a bad unit.

Personally, whenever i got a new mod, i'd use it & it exclusively for at least a couple days to make sure it was in working order. In retrospect, it should have been for at least a couple weeks. If you don't open them for a few months, as you said about yours, you usually can't make a warranty claim if there's a problem.

I’d put a little DeoxIT Red (liquid) cleaner down around the button. Can’t hurt at this point.

DeoxITLiquid, squeeze tube 100% solution 2 mL - D100L-2C https://a.co/d/dmy34Ju

DeoxIT D100L-25C Precision Needle Applicator, More Than A Contact Cleaner, 25 mL, Pack of 1 https://a.co/d/0QBk61S

Maybe on the board connections if you can get at them too.

Hmm, that's not good @Fidola13.

Sounds like a board issue, I do know that they don't work well with certain RDA's as some can be a little short on the 510 connector.

But in this case I'd definitely say it was a board issue, and LV aren't admitting responsibility.
That’s what I figured it must be too. Too much juice leaking thru the bf 510 connection. I contacted lost vape to no reply.

@Fidola13 I've got into the habit of using an oring in the 510 connectors of squonk mods, as I know most manufacturers don't give a damm about liquid ingress.

But I wonder if an ultrasonic cleaning with Distilled Water and Isopropyl Alcohol would get them working again, as that's how microelectronics are usually deep cleaned.

You are a New Member who signed up today - - - offering to sell mods - - - do you actually have anyone on ECF who can vouch for you???

More importantly, per @classwife (an ECF Administrator) sales must be conducted in the Classifieds.
