Well, I finally found a place that had a 510 in stock. It's from a Yankee, but I suppose I can forgive him this flaw long enough to do business. Unfortunately, he really didn't have any juice in stock.

So now I'm on the hunt for juice and I just started wondering what's popular with my Tejas brethren. I mean, I've never vaped before in my life. I've been smoking an average of 1.5 packs a day (currently Marlboro 27's) for about 22 years now. I stand a much better chance at throwing away these cancer causing tubes of cancer causing tastiness if I find something, well, tasty.

So point a noob in the right direction. What's popular around these parts?

I'm in the same boat as you. I just have the npro 4081. Just have the cartridges from them so far. I ordered a variety pack from midwest vapor just today so I can try a few different flavors. Good luck hunting.

Howdy Red;

Glad to see you found your way here. I'm not home right now, (I travel for a living) but we'll get together some time in the future. I'm on the West Side near Westheimer & TX6 (West Oaks Mall Area)

I've been using Johnson Creek cut 50 / 50 with VG. Smooth tasting, and loads of vapor. Attys running for over a month each. Tried mixing Ruyan heavy nic with VG and some vanilla extract. Clogged 2 attys solid. I think the extract did it. Shame I had to dump 30ml. I'm wondering if it was the sugar in the extract. The clogs resembled burnt cotton candy.

Yeah, I'm on the Northside of Houston in the Spring/Woodlands area. I would love to get some ecig advice in person, especially when it come to liquid, dripping, mixing, and changing out the wooly material in the carts. It seems as if I posted all my questions on this forum, you guys would kick me to the curb. I'm a sponge for information. Let me know.

I like Jane's Kick juice ( www.electronicsicarettesales.com ). It's high quallity, and she usually has a decent selection in stock.

Kat

I second Jane's Kick juice.

If your flavor preferenc is Tobacco: 555 or Marlboro

If you want a little more sweetness: Toffee

555 is becoming my favorite overall (Used to be Riskee Yuice from PS but it is no more :( )

No Problem at all. Just remember, my favorites may not be your favorites. I don't drip myself. I hear too may people complain about flooded attys and batteries. Lots of threads on dripping, and some dip into the juice. What ever floats your boat.

As stated before, I like the JC mix with VG.

The "wooly" material is easy. I use hypo alargenic pillow stuffing. Got a bag the size of a big pillow from Walmart for about 2 bucks. A good 2+ years supply. I'll look for the link for the cart stuffing video and send it to you.

When I said dripping, I meant into the cartridge, I forgot what the lingo is for that.

What VG do you get and from where local?

I would love the vid for cart. stuffing.

Thanks Jim, your like my e-cig big brother.

this thread was started for juice, and we're getting way off-topic. I'm starting another thread for questions & answers here in this forum. We can continue this in the new thread.

Meet ya there,

Flavor is in the taste of the beholder.
What one person likes another hates. For those that are new, vaping does not taste like smoking. You will not find a flavor that is exactly like the taste of a cigarette. They may call some flavors Marlboro, or Camel, or Like smoke, or just Tobacco, but taste like a cigarette? Not!

To me, the vaping flavors taste so much better, than an analog ever could.
Speaking only from my experience and tastes, I look for a flavor that I can use as an all day vape and not get tired of it. I sometimes like a candy flavor, but not all day long.
Out of all the flavors I have tried, I now use Johnson Creek Tenessee Cured. I use it as my all day vape, as the taste is not one I grow tired of. It has a smooth but not over powering flavor, with a hint of caramel and vanilla, and is supposed to have the flavors of seven different tobaccos.

Many have complained about Johnson Creek ruining attys. I have been using Johnson Creek since I began vaping and have as of yet never had an atty failure. (knock on wood!) I feel that cleaning your attys on a regular basis, is key to its longevity. And always keep you atty moist, you can never top off too often.

My wife's current daily vape is RY4, but even still she says she likes Johnson Creek Tenessee Cured better.

Like I said, For example: I can't stand cabbage. Just the smell of it when my wife is cooking it, runs me out of the room. But my wife loves cabbage, go figure. LOL!
Just keep trying different flavors till you find what you like.

Funny thing is I've been vaping for 4 months now and still don't really have a fave :(

I either like 'em at first and then I don't later on or the other way around. One thing is for sure I'm not getting bored with vaping, lol. About the only one that I've stuck with is Cash Menthol but that's probably because I only vape it when I'm in the mood for a cool hit. I'll have to find another supplier for some good menthol since Steve isn't juicing anymore.

Cash Riskee is another one that I liked a lot though I admit I couldn't stand it at first. Tasted like I was vaping perfume, lol. But I tried it again and loved it. Too bad, can't get that anymore either. I had two bottles left. Kept one and auctioned off the other just for fun.

Later guys...

Amen to Jane's juice. Not only is it good, it gets to you fast and the shipping is free. If you're a menthol-head like me, the "Abandon Mint" will push all your buttons, especially if you get the extra strength.

My first experience was with RY4. I thought, "oh dear. After so much research this isn't what I expected." It has a little bit of a sweet, almost cloying, kind of after taste. I stuck with it for a couple of days until my MLB juice got in. WHOA the MLB was harsh but definitely had a closer tobacco flavor. I switched back and forth between the two for a few days and now I actually prefer the RY4 and it's sweet after taste.

As has been said, vaping is not going to taste like smoke or have that same flavor - which is good! I'm enjoying getting my nic fix all day long and not puffing on something that taste like ash.

I didn't think flavors was going to be that good of an idea but I'm starting to try them now. Just got some Peach and Cream, mixed them together a little and it reminds me of a tasty Raspa!

I do think trying to get a tobacco flavor at the beginning helped me stop smoking analogs completely though. It would have been harder if I had started with something fruity.

Just some good advice.

Go with the 36mg. - just take my word for it. Better throat hit, more flavor. If it's too strong, buy some PG from juicyliquid.com and cut it with that. VG & glycerine, as you have/will find out, can clog your attys.

Steer clear of juice sellers that approach $1 per mil - totally not worth it. I bought from eastmall.net, direct from china, and the Red Bull is the same stuff as sold at E-smokeyTreats. It's all pretty much the same other than the packaging. Go cheap on the juice, you won't be disappointed. Jane's juice is special because her blends are unique and great! If she offered 36mg I would buy soooooo much more from her.

Get a good PV. My favorite is the 510 model -- starting with something too small (like a supermini or the 401) will just leave you wishing you didn't have to fill carts all the time.

Best juice dealers for the buck? --

nuvape.com
eastmall.net
electroniccigarettesales.com

There are others -- shop around.

Stay clear of Addiction ejuice (reports of weirdness), Totally Wicked (too high), Johnson Creek (yuck).

This is just MHO - take it for what its worth.
