Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

Well if you love a fine Partagas PSD#4, well this ain't it. It's hard to be precise because I haven't used it alone of course. What I would say is it seems to give the base flavor depth with a fuller mouthfeel (a cigar term used to describe the "heaviness" of the smoke). I don't get the ashyness of the VTA. If VTA makes a vape more "cigarette like", Cuban TA makes it more "cigar like". I'm really liking both. In fact I just ordered the Garuda TA and Dark tobacco too.

If your looking to add a bit of ash try adding inawera's DNB to the mix. I generally use 2 - 3% but you'll need to experiment to find what works for your own taste.

Anyone that's tried Inawera Gold Ducat, what's in it? I read one review that said licorice but I don't think so. Not in my bottle anyways. :D

I also read a review that said honey, but I don't get honey either. But I'm starting to wonder if it's maybe a drop of both? Or just the power of suggestion? Anyways I'm starting to think it maybe could be a drop of both honey and licorice in there lol. :vapor:

It's been a little while since I mixed some Gold Ducat. But I remember getting honey from it. I'll have to revisit this flavor.

Been looking for Gold Ducat for over a week now. Everyone seems to be sold out of it.

Yeal, it's a very unusual flavor for me but very good for a change of pace and along with a hot cup of coffee. Let me know what you think if you dig it back out for another try.

DNB as in the Dirty Nasty Boogeyman? That stuff scares me. I think that stuff is for you Pro Mixers. I'm not there yet but I have found my cursor wandering over the icon at Bull City. What I think I need to try next is this Rustica TA you guys keep talking about. Sounds yummy. If I understand correctly it's semi-sweet and adds richness right?

What I do have coming in the next order is AP. I do love me some nuttiness.

To me, Gold Ducat tastes exactly like Prince Albert cigarillos. They're the less popular Black-N-Mild look-a-likes that have a different taste, but are made from the same company. With a touch of TA and your choice of Vanilla, I think it'd be pretty easy to replicate their Soft Vanilla rillos.

Without thinking much I typed in my email address to be notified when Highway was back in stock at BC. Today when I checked my emails I had several junk emails. I'm always getting some but this was a lot more that usual and I'm thinking the two events are related.

When we set up accounts or make a purchase we're taken to a secure connection but when we type in our email address I don't think it is.

The two events may not be connected but I'm gun shy now and aint' gonna do that no mo lol.

I can remember smoking and liking some of those several years ago, but can't recall what they tasted like. (I hate old age :-x)

Anyways, I have Rustica and Vanilla. What percents would you suggest?

Aheadatime's Prince Albert Soft Vanilla 'Rillos

Gold Ducat 3.5%
TA Cuban 1.5%
Vanillin 10% solution .5%
French Vanilla (DIYFS) 1%

My variation:

Inawera Gold Ducat 4%
Rustica (10% solution) 1%
Inawera Wanilia (vanilla) 1%

Um um good. And so easy. Whopping long 20 minutes hot steep. Sweet but not too sweet, but plenty sweet to go great with a hot cup of coffee. (Yeal, yeal, it's 6:51 pm here and too late for coffee but I'm drinking it anyways.) :vapor:

Thanks Aheadatime. And if you'd rather I take your name off just mention it and I will. Also I'd still like to see your percents if you don't mind sharing. I figured I wanted it a little stiffer for this so I bumped the GD up from my normal 3%. It's perfect for me now but depending on what steeping does for it I may drop back to 3% for the GD.

That was quick lol. Seems like a solid recipe imo. I've never tried the Wanilia, but I've heard such good things about it. The recipe I tried a while back (after looking through my notes, it says 'too much vanilla') was

Gold Ducat 3.5%
TA Cuban 1.5%
Vanillin 10% solution 1.5%
French Vanilla (DIYFS) 1.5%

I think having less vanilla (like your recipe) is the way to go in order to let the Ducat really shine. The mix got slightly 'muddy' with how much vanilla I added. Revisiting it, I would probably do .5% Vanillin and 1% French Vanilla. I don't mind the name being involved in the recipe. I think its awesome. :toast: Be sure to keep us posted regarding how it tastes as it ages.

What would u guys say are DIY Tabacco most common used Notes?
I'm looking into making my own Tabacco e-juice, I have looked at some recipes but of course those vary, sometimes a lot....

I dont mind doing trial and error, but it would be nice to have lots of Flavors commonly used In Tabacco so I can experiment. . TiA

Looks like the percents are fairly close. I'll post your mix (with your adjusted percents) though because I think the different ta and vanillas will make at least a slight difference. I've got about 3 ml left that's going into the drawer for a long steep. I'll try to remember to vape a few drops along and post on it.

If you like the ry4 type mixes they're basically tobacco, vanilla and caramel. There a huge thread on here with a lot of good recipes. Just search 'ry4 roundup' and it should pop up.

Also Danny has an excellent blog of several additives. Sweetening and additives |

That is going to depend a lot on you. What do you like in a tobacco flavor. Grassy/hay flavored, Rich bold flavor, Pipe flavor/ Cigar flavored, Cigalike flavor. A lot of tobacco flavor reviews have been done in this thread by a few people. Decide what kind of flavor your looking for and then review the reviews and that should help you pick a few flavors to order and try.
