So, your opinion that it's great isn't subjective?
You're asking me whether or not my opinion is subjective. - Really? - Do you really want to pursue this?

On the matter of the Vector itself... speaking of the Authentic... It's a quality piece, very well machined, it's price has been dramatically lowered at some vendor sites, it's recognized by many as a flavorful atty - variables aside as to the users ability to put a good build on it - it has a surprisingly good range of airflow, it's construction insures that it doesn't leak, it's aesthetically pleasing (to some)...

Cons? Yeah. I think they're all subjective. What were yours? You didn't define your own issues with it. Saying that YOU didn't jive with it, isn't exactly substantive.

I'll agree that it is beautifully machined. However, I found the flavor to be severely lacking with a variety of builds and I didn't care for the integrated drip tip with no option out of the box for a 510 drip tip. So, there you have it. However, you've clearly mandated that any cons shouldn't be believed in favor of your pronouncement of its greatness - which, by the way, wasn't particularly substantive either.

You like the Vector and I don't. Pretty simple, really.

Mandated? That's a strong word. I didn't mandate anything... but, I should've put-up a smiley next to my original pronouncement (of the cons being subjective). So shoot me! ...and you did, but no harm done. True, I didn't substantiate my comment... and I won't now, I'll rephrase...

Every con is subjective. Every pro is also subjective. Pure objectivity results from universal collective agreement, removing the filters of individual minds and emotions, but since 'Reality' is actually an individual perception, an individual experience, all Reality is subjective.

Sorry you don't care for the Vector. Most (but not all) find it to be a flavorful atty. But... taste is subjective, and there's something for everyone, and I wish you the best.

You are correct. That special drip tip I didn't even put a build on it. I just listed it on eBay for sale.

Highly recommend the Zephyr Buddha V2....
TONS of air.... If you drag hard you can fill your lungs up in ~1-2 seconds easy.

They're all adjustable.... there's x2 huge vents on the sides, vents on the bottom, and vents up by the tip.

The Manta looks interesting. Did a little 'homework' on it now that its been mentioned a few times. Didn't exactly study it... but it looks good! I'm glad you guys are diggin' it. I find it very difficult to believe that given its construction (differences to the Vector noted), that you guy's get no flavor out of the Vector. But OK. The Velocity would be a real POS for y'all in this case. Haha lol. :) Anyway...

With direct experience, we all know what we like. Often-times some things need to be given a 2nd or even 3rd chance, but that's a personal call. Time is short. Choices are abundant so... It's all good. Playing a game of 'what's best'? is pretty sophomoric, but that we can respect each other's choices and learn from each other is priceless. :)

Hmm. Right now, IMHO, I`m split between the Aeolus and the Vector. BUT, I have yet to get a Sapor so IDK? LOL.

The Vector is nice, the only con is you are unable to use your own drip tip. I use mine with the jaybo comp cap and they are perfect match.

You can! Just use a oversize o-ring and it works just fine. The only drawback the Vector has is that flipping metal pipe gets way forking hot during chain vaping but a delrin stubby cools it down just enough to hit er hard.

Manta- tight tight draw. Decent atty. Smaller
Vector- have 4. Vaped it until I was sick of it. Great atty.
Velocity- good. I always over drip it. Not a top air anyway.
Sapor- my current favorite. Highly recommend and cheap.
REMAtty- great for a smaller derribtype type vape.
THUMP- another great one for a Derringer style.
That's all I know. Try them all!

Broke my Vector in this weekend. I like it, but I don't love it. As others have stated, that metal drip tip gets HOT! Also, the tip is stubby enough that it's a challenge not to block the airflow holes on top. I do have my winter beard going strong right now, so maybe it'll be less of a problem come spring when I'm clean shaven again. :) But it's really nice to build on, doesn't leak, and I'm satisfied with with the flavor and vapor production.

But now my quest will continue, possibly with an Aeolus Lite up next, though there is plenty in this thread that looks appealing.

It does take abit of getting use to. Make sure your build itself is not causing the atty to heat up. Many builds can be "shorty" causing any extreme heat. I have had .1ohm builds in the thing with minimal heat. I have had .3ohm builds where after 2o seconds of total pulsing it's so hot I can't touch it. I think the standard tip is the best draw. I have tried them both. Just a thought. There are delrin tips available as well.

I have to echo others here and say the Vector. I got one when they came out and have found it to be an excellent balance between clouds and flavor. It has been in regular rotation. I have the jaybo comp cap..the full sleeve version and I don't love it. I also found that it preforms better for me with Clapton/and fused builds positioned lower in the Atty. I have a .18 fused build in mind right now that just humms right along and I can take multiple hits before the tip gets to hot.
