Ok so I have a lavatube 2 and absolutely LOVE it, it's my main e-cig. I also have a rider robust A which is ok but more cheaply made than the lavatube, which is expected since it was about a third of the cost. I'm looking into getting another vv but looking for suggestions. So far considering the e-Vic or the silver bullet but am open to any suggestions. What's your go to vv mod and why?

Well i have a spinner, evic, and vamo. And I like them all for different reasons. My reason for the evic purchace was cause of the charge port that is usb which we all have them laying around. And the ability to get firmware updates, plus the ability to read exactly what im doing in the menu system instead of no1 no2 etc.... and having to remember what each of them menus do exactly.

I have a Lavatube 2 also & it's a nice VV, I use mine every day & I'm happy with it, but for the dollars spent, get a VAMO. I use the VAMO more than the LT2. Its just as nice (better in some ways) & takes the same batteries, charger, and all the accessories as the LT2......and runs about $50 in Stainless Steel.
IMHO it's the biggest bang for the buck right now .

Here's Pbustardos' review of the earlier model, with some comparisons to the LT2 : A PBusardo Review - The Vamo - YouTube

(BTW - the V2 they are selling now has eliminated the problems he mentions, plus its now available in Stainless, and cheaper)

Have fun...

Technically the Silver Bullet is a mechanical mod and not variable voltate. However, perhaps you are considering Kicking it if you get one. Again, technically that would be variable wattage, not variable voltage.

My favorite VV mod is the Provari. Best consistant vape out of two mechanicals (including a Silver Bullet) and two VV gripper-style box mods. It's extremely durable, accurate, and reliable. It guarantees the precise voltage that I set from the beginning to end of each battery (patented Accuset processor chip). Provape has an excellent customer service reputation.

Even after the warranty has expired, I have the security of knowing that the manufacturer will repair it for already known, item for item replacement costs - you won't get that from any other variable voltage manufacturer.

Notcigs buzz pro for a rock solid, high performance, vv at a good price. Stellar durability, excellent customer service, notcigs has made vv units longer than any other vendor.

Reo vv grand for all day at work use. Excellent feeder with 6 ml bottle combined with the notcigs vv electronics.

I only have the vamo since my lavatube died so am purchasing a backup next week. I think I'm going for the itaste MVP. Any other suggestions for a device up to £50? Don't want a second vamo. Really wanted the smok groove but watched pbusardos review and it looks too plasticy?
The newest Itaste Mvp with Ego Threading Rocks!

It's my favorite device ever. One thing that's not mentioned is that the device has flawless filtering. You can hook a regular voltage tester up to it and it will not show as PWM. I'm a heavy Vaper and it lasted me from 5:30Pm Friday until 8:30pm Sunday. I was vaping a Kanger T3 at 4.2V. I had a provari, which I lost. Sigh... and I like this unit better.

The box shape is rock solid stable to put on a table and if it falls it doesn't roll. It comes fairly stable but if you go 7minutes and 25 seconds into the following video there is a fix to make it totally stable that even a two thumbs like me could do! iTaste MVP Review - YouTube it doesn't roll and it's slightly shorter than the Ego Twist and way shorter than the Sigelei or the Vamos

An even cooler feature is that it charges using any Micro USB Cable which is what most newer Cel phones [Excluding Apple] use. If you have a long cable you can even use it as a passthrough.

The only reason not to buy this unit is if you are into extreme vaping. The range is 3.3 to 5V and at 5v under load it goes down to 4.8V that is plenty for me. I don't need the Ohm Tester. I have another unit for that and really why is a Ohm tester necessary. You just keep going up .1v until you reach your sweet spot.
