You were correct in that it was doubly hard to read. It didnt matter about the font size, but what doubly mattered was the information contained within it.

I disagree that the FDA has no checks and balances, it does, but they are very adept at manipulating it to gain their desired results. The absolute corruption is apparent and can be proven, which leads me to wonder why in the hell do we, and by we I mean WE AMERICANS, allow it to continue? Could it be that we are all so entirely busy trying to just get by to survive that we have all forgotten our own obligations to OUR country? Could it be that we are so beaten down by the constant barrage of BS, be it personal, work related, community, state and federal, that we are just overwhelmed by the massive amount of CRAP that has built up over the decades that we can no longer see any viable ways in which to correct it? Could it be that the very people we need to rely on to keep these things in check are so corrupt, from the top down to the bottom that there IS no way to fix it, barring a coup, not by our own military, but by an uprising revolution of the PEOPLE of this country to take back and correct ALL that has gone horribly wrong. This goes far beyond e-cigarettes.

FDA has no checks or balances. This is not to say that they cannot fought. Perhaps their own history brought to light and made known is a weapon we could consider using when we write to our elected officials.

FDA violation of the rule of law - emord & associates

Warning: This is a difficult read in 2 meanings. It is literally difficult to read because the print is so tiny... I had to push the zoom 5 times to see the letters. It is also difficult to read due to the facts contained therein.

But perhaps it is good to know facts, and start a counter-attack, asking the senate and congress to limit the power granted to the FDA. At any rate, I found it interesting. I have always considered it wise to know one's enemy.

Brightest Blessings!

^ but that doesn't end it by any means.
It just means that "so far" the equipment is not considered a "drug delivery device".
It actually gave the FDA some strength in regulating the fluids. So watch out there.

We jumped over another hurdle... Keep the faith...

The further they go the more illogical judges "may" find it and the easier it is on us...

has anyone tried to contact the president regarding this?

Yes. I sent a very heart felt letter last year. After about 3 months, I received a really nice form letter which had nothing to do with the issue I spoke about, and was signed with a wonderful stamp of Obamas signature. At that point, I realized the Obama Administration couldnt care less about me, my fellow vapers, what the FDA has done or is doing, or the good that e-cigs can do.

AngeL..
Not being negative but also not letting my guard down.
I got taxed into oblivion with cigs and shoved out in the cold. Won't happen twice without a major fight.

Amen to that!! Especially since this new fight is just because of the of residual anti smoking sentiment of people ignorant of the difference between analogs and PV's.

Individually, not one of us- even if you are a judge- is able to combat FDA and other departmental practices that work for big tobacco (especially the big three) and big pharma. These are big players, and naturally there will be a good degree of friction between them and e-cig manufacturers/suppliers; a child would be able to say, "hmm.. looks like someone strong got upset and got help from the police..". How do you unseat or at least ruffle their position? Well historically, I would say these three ingredients do a good amount of damage: press coverage, citizen contact with representatives and senators, and oh- a brigade of lawyers for a nationwide class-action suit. If there is ANYTHING that will make a blue-blood put his coffee down and go defensive, it's a law suit. Cheers

^ Might be worth a few phone calls, if you are armed with enough ammo(info) to go on the attack.

I have been about making calls as well. I agree that facts are a must.

It would be nice if we could have 2 sticky files in here for quick referances. One for factual studies done by reputable sources which are either pro-vaping or make no adverse conclusions re' vaping. The other file should have studies which conclude that vaping is dangerous. We may choose to refer to studies in our ongoing letter writing campaign.

Brightest Blessings!

I'm putting together a file of quick reference links for the purpose of going after "Terry Link, st sen., Illinois", but will be useful for other causes as well. It's a personal list of favorites, in regard to studies. I guess it would be somewhat good for media as well, but haven't considered it.
Things like studies on PG fluids, nitrocymines(sp) in nicotine for comparison, etc.

Problem is, neither media or fool politicians will take the time to dig into these links and info. So the intent is to have them available for my own references and to forward the links as needed. It seems you have to do the KISS method (keep it simple, stupid) with politicians and at least have links for them to reference.
When I hear things like "there are no studies out there to prove e-cigs are safe, I cringe . It's the FDA's "playbook line" statement, and absolutely false. Ya gotta be able to say...."Oh Yeah???, Look at these!!!" WHAM!!
