Hope someone that knows how our *awesome* FDA and Customs officials work. Do USA juices have to go through all this nonsense or is it just overseas shipments?

Primarily liquids from China Plantlvr. There is a restriction on the amount of liquid coming in from China....not sure if that includes the surrounding areas or not.
Believe it's only China as of right now Ms. Keelalagirl. Think I have the link to all the laws on my computer, will post it tomorrow if so....

I was wondering about this. Kinda' caught the jist that it was definitely Chinese juices, but was wondering about the homegrown lick-lacks as well.

Where else in the surrounding areas does it usually get imported from? I'm clueless to all this beyond the given (China).

Customs checks almost everything coming in from China. LOTS of replica goods coming in every day. They stop large shipments.
I had a $7,000 Panerai I bought from a gentleman in China. A real one. Customs smashed the watch with a hammer and then sent it to me with a fee. I then proceeded to tell them with some quite strong words what they have done. Lets just say I got it replaced.
FDA can work with customs on shipments as well. Thats whats going on most likely.

Well the site I had bookmarked with the exact amount of liquid allowed to be imported from China isn't coming up (404 error). Trying my hardest to loacate another site with the info, but from what's been found so far, doesn't look like it applies to anywhere but China. Will keep looking...

I thought the FDA threw in the towel and was regulating the eCig as a tobacco product, which makes as much sense as regulating water as sulfuric acid, but I thought the days of shipment detaining were over. Maxwell sir it has to with the quantity ordered, not what it is per say. They put heavier restrictions on how much of any liquid you can have imported from china, whether it be taco sause, baby oil, etc....
That would be per company? One could acquire multiple companies, could they not? Just saying.

They moved ALL our manufacturing plants to China (to pay lower wages) (and create 50 million unemployed here) and then set a limit on how much they can send back to us? That is suicide, it's a joke. Seems everything is upside down.
China started it with restrictions on us...then we...acting like a toddler...retaliated in kind putting restrictions on them.....it's a no win situation.
Seems fairly simple solution then. Order high nic juice from China and cut it down/add flavors here. Jobs for US and no FDA/customs drama controlling your ability to keep things stocked. Yes the juice will be a bit more expensive using american labor but it would be worth it to have control of your stock and flavorings so as to not alienate customers who are sick of waiting and/or having the juice not taste remotely the same as last batch. I have switched to a US juice vendor and am quite happy for now. Wait times are a little longer on shipping but not the months that have elapsed waiting for waffle and peppermint. V4L still has my hardware business but I cannot justify pining away for juice from an unstable supply.
