And I live in New England the cradle of nanny state activism.

That is one thing that's always baffled the hell out of me.

Actually, yall WERE the cradle of LIBERTY. Where it all started.

Liberty or Death.

How the heck that turned into Nannyville, USA I have no clue.

I don't see a down side to stocking up on things you already use. I've been doing that right along anyways. When the deeming hit I was already set for a very long time, I just took advantage of some deep discounted products from a few vendors, and grabbed some odds and ends. I do hope that these lawsuits are successful in halting these regs in their tracks. In the meantime, it's really a guessing game, I hope the folks litigating have deep enough pockets to see their cases through, and that an injunction is issued before too much damage to small businesses happens.

I would only be Really Concerned right now if I lived in just a few of the nanny states that have zeroed in on vaping. Thankfully, I don't.

I live in a state that forbids online sale and shipment of "tobacco products." In two months, when mods, attys, and juice become "tobacco products," that's it for me. I make my own juice, but you can bet I'm stocking up on EVERYTHING I CAN. There IS NO B&M within 100 miles and that one might shut down soon anyway, so then where would I be? Other states are as bad or worse. Consider yourself lucky you live in Florida, but stop telling everyone the sky isn't falling, because for some of us, it is. It just isn't in Florida yet. I wish with all my heart that the sky NEVER falls for you, but it's falling here, and I'm prepping.

I agree all the smart people have long since left the NE but I was just in Florida and I don't remember seeing a single FEDERALLY banned item for sale out in the open.

For example I seen alot of pop guns for sale but I wanted a M249 SAW and none were to be found.

I guess where I am having a dilemma is on how much nic base to stock. Is it realistic to try to store 20 years or more worth of nic base now and then later realize you can still buy the premixed juices you have grown to love?
How much should a person stock?
And I am still confused on the date in which we will no longer be able to buy nic base. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

The exact date of the nic ban will vary. In NY and apparently SD its 8/8/2016.

For one person 20 years nic could be under 200 bucks. Lets say for whatever reason you only use half. 100 bucks down the toilet. For me thats less then a weeks cigarettes. Risk a 100 bucks over a 20 year period to possibly save THOUSANDS??

What the downside again??

I figured about $630 for 6 liters of 100mg. Maybe I am figuring too much nic base for 20 years!
I vape about 10 ml a day at 12 mg. am I over estimating how much I need?

I suck at math but I'm getting 9 liters.

Good nic is 45 bucks so I got you at 400 bucks all in.

I should point out long term my plan involved lowered nic, no nic and towards the very end either nothing or knowing me smoking.

Well there's the rub Bruce, with the FDA's deeming they have opened a pandoras box as of 8/8. Now all the states have the lawful right to tax, regulate and stigmatize vaping at will. we have no clue whats in store for us in just a few months not years.

And I live in New England the cradle of nanny state activism.
That is my concern, how many states are going to come down hard on vape shops not licensed to sell tobacco vape products, how many will no longer be allowed to sell tobacco vape supplies online. If the states put the hammer down on their vape shops it can be totally crushing. In my state it will not be pretty because of their tobacco laws.

I'm sorry about that, I'm new here.
Apologies
Apology accepted ;)

I know you're new, just was lettin' ya know :)

A lot of us are hoping that one of the lawsuits will result in shutting the FDA up. :nun: Their deeming, as written, are so confusing and really I believe they wrote it to be confusing. Just maddening. :grr:

On another note, do you know if j0ker will be verifying people tonight? I've had my request in for a few days.

Thanks

So far he has been pretty much like clockwork. I think he only missed a couple of Sunday's due to some personal situations and when PayPal started messing up stuff.
