FDA request for Comments...

Hi Everyone
I'm sure you're all sick to death of seeing this posted everywhere. But I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that I have spent the last couple of hours to make my statement in support of responsible regulation for the vaping industry. If you wish to do so, we have until Jan. 16th to make our voices heard on the matter. Oh, and tomorrow, after I've had enough coffee, I'll give it a shot, too. I think it's very important and the more that speak up the better the chance that we'll be heard....I mean REALLY heard.

Your FDA letter was very well written. It came from the heart and whoever reads it will realize that. Thank You.

All us vapers have a story to tell on why and how we quit smoking and what e-cigs have done for us. That story needs to be told. It's of paramount importance. I'm going to start writing my story and I hope many others will also.

I submitted too but on-line. Was limited to 2000 words, I believe.
I should probably write a longer version. I covered a lot of bases, but not all of them.

I know...I took a risk there. But to answer all of the questions that were suggested and to get my point across, I went a little overboard. I don't necessarily recommend everyone go overboard like I did. I submitted it as a pdf so all the text went in (you can upload a file instead of writing in the box.) I'm also mailing a paper copy just in case. My hope is that they will read it and that just one person will get something positive out of it and think twice before making regulation without understanding the diverse needs of the population. More than anything, I hope all of our comments give them reason to dig deeper and learn more about it before making any regulatory mistakes.

Thank you! I've said to myself I will do this but your thread and blog entry were the catalyst that made that thought into a reality. Just finished adding my comment. This thread at least made one person actually do something. Pretty powerful if you ask me
