Feburary Vape Meet!

Hoosier Vapers are hosting their first vape meet-up of 2013 and everyone is invited. Since you all know who is hosting and what a vape meet is, I will skip to the important stuff first.

Where: Whiskey Creek at 490 S Reed Rd, Kokomo, IN 46901
When: 2/23/13 starting at 4PM
Why: To get together with fellow vapers. Exchange experience. Have fun. Raise money for CASAA.

We have some great raffle prizes already and more coming. A few examples include a complete Vmax kit, 30ml’s of Halo Belgian Cocoa, and an eVic. There is much more and we will add items to the Facebook event listing as time goes on. FB Event Link As always, every attendee gets a free raffle ticket and may purchase additional chances with all proceeds going to CASAA.

We will be in the back room of Whiskey Creek which is adjacent to the restrooms and the bar. Whiskey Creek has a full menu and a nice bar so folks can step into the bar area and get service if they like. Expect a laid back and social atmosphere. Bring your fancy hardware, mini’s, tanks, questions, thoughts, or anything you would like, but if you would like to try out some of the various juices then please bring a dripping atomizer, or at the very least a drip tip. One of the best things about a vape meet is being able to try out different juices for nothing. (I know a few people who have discovered juices that became staples of theirs’ by sampling at a vape meet.)

I just got another promise of a donation, so the raffle is looking darn good. (And I get to mess with Trep's tracking spreadsheet again!)

19 vendors have donated to the February vape meet already. Some vendors are planning to attend also to just hang out.

We are up to nearly 200 bottles of juice for sampling and the raffle, 15 kits plus 5 mods for the raffle. Add in the nearly 50 cartos/tanks/clearos/attys and it's looking like a really nice meet-up.

Ya' might already know about the eVic and the Zmax that has already been donated to the raffle, but check out the mod that Kokomo Pure Vapors donated to the raffle today.

Question. Will there be PV's there to be purchased? I am bring a friend who is interested in vaping, but I don't have anything to lend him to use to try juices. Also how much will it cost to purchase additional raffle tickets?

The level of donation to CASAA in exchange for additional raffle tickets has not been set yet. The council will be having a meeting soon and it will be discussed.

We can bring some devices that allow sampling from someone else's PV sanitary. It's a rubber tube like thing and Trep got a fairly large supply of them for when we did an outreach at the Parke Bridge Festival. Also bring it up on the Event FB page and someone may be able to bring something that they might like to PIF.

ETA: I brought up the subject of PIF'ing to help a smoker get started vaping on the FB event page.

OK, so I am not a Hoosier, but I can see Indiana from my front room window...does that count? Can I fudge the application to say Danville, IN instead of Danville, IL ? No others vapers around me...Tony from Indigo can vouch for me.. I give him enough of my pay check every week that he should ...

Bummer. I received an email this morning from Tony saying he was coming down and bringing some samples for everyone to try to go with the two Indigo Buckets he wanted to be in the raffle. I know he lives close enough to Ill to see it from the driveway.

I've been trying to get my cousins in Portage to come down, but the stubborn streak runs strong in my family.

I thought Tony lived in the Northeast part of the state by South Bend? Last I heard he's going to be there.

You're right. It has to be a very clear day and the lake a bit low and he has to be above the buildings in South Bend that are in the way....

But he's got a much better chance to see it from his place than I do down here southwest of Kokomo.

Well, you'll be getting into the north edge of the flattest part of Indiana at the meet area so you should feel at home.
