Greetings folks.
I'm planning out my first juice feeder mod and was wondering if anyone knows the best tubing to use and where I might be able to find it. I asked about this in my comments at madvapes when I ordered the connecters and Rick just wrote "smallparts.com" on the packing slip. I've been perusing their site and they seem to have tubing in all sorts of material. I was hoping someone who has made juice feeders before might be able to point me to the right stuff. I would think it would need to be impervious to PG, VG and alcohol.
Thanks in advance for any support you can provide.

Here is a list of micro bore clear PVC tubing:
Tygon Micro Bore PVC Tubing, Clear - SmallParts.com

The tubing most people use is out of the disposable fireplace lighters, this is the same stuff but in longer lengths. The tubing in the lighters is approx 1/16 OD or .0625" So the .07 OD is comparable ( B000PHCDHQ ), 10' for $5.80.
Hope this helps
Dan

i'll give you the MSC part#

PTFE Thin Wall Spaghetti Flexible Tubing Inside Diameter: 0.038 In. Outside Diameter: 0.062 In. Wall Thickness: 0.012 In. Material: Teflon Color: Natural White
than i stick my 510 not sealed connector into this
Shop The Hillman Group 4-Pack 0.656" x 0.274" Finishing Washers at Lowes.com

so when the juice leaks it will be absorbed back inside the bottle. i just file the inside and have the connector tight fit so that the bottle can suck the juice back in.
that teflon tubing is heating resistant and much better than copper tubing. no risk of shorting the atomizer plus you can regulate how much of it you want to go inside the atty cos its not attached/fixed. i first screw my bottle in than i insert the tubing from the connector to go inside the bottle than i insert my atty... (blah, blah, blah...)

God I love this place! I'm headed to a hobby shop today to see if they have anything that will work for now, thanks Puck. I build my mods from raw materials so I never think of cannibalizing household objects for parts. Besides if I tear up the BBQ lighter how will my wife light her stinky ... candles? Thanks Dan. For subsequent models I'll find the teflon tubing and I kinda like the finish washer tip misterD. Thanks. Like the Bukowski avatar too. always makes me think about my best friend who is a big fan and a 30 year recovered alky.

In the prototype I'm making I'm using a large hole 510 connecter. I think the .062 OD tubing will fit nicely. I destroyed my wife's stinky candle lighter only to find a tube that measures 3/32 so it wouldn't fit.
The mod I'm making will be a wooden one like the Reo but shaped to fit the hand better and it will have marquetry inlays on the sides. In future versions I'd like to add a touch sensor switch. This one will be designed to use a carto. Does anyone know how a bottem feed system can be made to work with attys? I'd like to offer an HV option or adjustable voltage if I can figure that out. Cartos don't fare too well at 6 volts in my experience.
