The KGO batteries are a little more powerful and a tad larger. They have been tested to have great output.
EGO batts (900mah) last a long time as well. These come with larger dual coil (heater) attys in the cartomizer.
Both of these batteries have the same connections, so accessories are interchangeable.
The KGO set is cheaper, then you can buy some DC Mega Cartos if you'd like.

That's a good price on a Joye eGo kit w/case CK85, the main difference in the 2 kits to me is the operating voltage, the eGo @ 3.4v and the KGO @ 3.8-4v.(as long as your get the 1000mah bats w/the eGo). Just make sure and get some spare carto's, a couple of atty's, a drip tip, oh and don't forget the juice. :p

Thanks again for the help. So I need to buy both atty's and carto's then. How many do you advise of each...do they last awhile?

Well you don't really need to buy both, but I would. Mainly because I really enjoy dripping when @ home, and atty's are great for testing juices as well. By testing different juices you don't end up with carto's full of a juice that you don't like.

Edit: 2 box's of 5 - 2ohm Boge carto's and 2or3 - 1.8-2ohm atty's. They should last you a month or so...YMMV

Is the KGO a manual battery? I've read a lot of positive comments (I'm very new to this), but really like auto.

I have kr808s and have always used Cartos. They're very easy to fill, and refill. I ordered my kgo from virgin vapor because, unlike a lot of other kits, her comes with attys and cartridges. From reading here, not many people use this set up anymore but I wanted the option. And I wanted to be able to dry this dripping thing everyone talks about. No more wasting a bunch of juice, or ruining a perfectly good carto with a juice that tastes like a**. I also ordered some boge LR 2.0 cartos and some of the 1.7 Cartos. Cartos are just the easiest thing to use. Coupla adapters so all my 808 Cartos won't go to waste too. I'm hoping I'll be good for a while. Now I just have to watch some videos and learn how to use an atty :)

I highly recommend getting both attys and cartos. Just make sure with new attys that you blow the primer out of them first. It's kinda nasty until it burns off if you forget to do it but it won't hurt you. As for Boge cartos, life of them varies from user to user. I've had some last me well over 2 months before and others a couple of days...goes back to the type of juice you use. Dark or 100% VG will clog them faster. crystalclearvaping.com has the best deal on 3 boxes of Boge. Andrew is only open from 10am - 5pm CST (I think that's the timezone) and closed on sunday. He had to do this because we all keep him pretty busy.

Very few, if any, of the larger PVs have the option of an auto battery but don't worry, within a few minutes, the button will become a habit and feel natural. The manuals do not have a cutoff time which will allow you to experiment with your vaping technique, and they are very hard to kill with leaking juice

Don't worry about the learning curve...just go with it. I have an Ego batt (first two days w/o analogs) and already looking at DIY box mods. So to each his/her own. Go with what feels right and will feel good in your hand lol. Also check here for prices as I paid way too much on my first kit. Happy Vappin...hope ya stay with it.

Ok...I guess that makes sense, but out of curiosity, how do the Echo's stand up in comparison with the KGO? (Thanks for your patience with the n00b questions, btw)
