So I've been vaping for about a month, but still have not even gotten close to quitting the analogs. In fact it's pretty hard for me to even cut down a couple a day.
Well today I decided that I would try a little harder than usual and force myself to vape about 1/3 of the time I craved to go light up a smoke. Half the day later, I just started to feel nauseous every time i had a vape...just the smell and taste that lingered alone made me a bit sick to my stomach. I actually started dreading it.
I'm currently only vaping tobacco flavored carts, switching from one kind to another. Do you guys think it could just be that maybe I'm sick of the artificial tobacco flavors? And perhaps ordering other flavored cartos next time will rekindle my hope in vaping?

edit: I only use 8mg and 11mg so I know it's not because of the niccotine.. I guess the taste may just be turning me off =/

Yes, it's very possible. I would suggest that you try the fruit flavors - or other non-tobacco flavors like coffee. The fruits have a clean taste.

I sometimes have trouble with the Tobacco, Caramel Mocha Frappaccino and Cappacino flavors; they can make me nauseous. The fruit flavors never do that to me.

You didn't mention what strength carts/juice you are vaping, OR what strength cigs you are smoking. If you smoke lights, or ultra-lights, and your vape is more than 11-12mg/ml you
can easily get woozy from more nicotine than your body is used to.

It could be a flavor issue, but I'd look at the nic levels FIRST.

Hope this is helpful

I have tried some of the tobacco flavors ( 0 nic ) and they made me feel nauseous. I stick to other flavors (fruit mostly), which I have not had any bad reaction to, once I stopped using PG based liquid. It could be the flavor, or the strength of your nic, or you could be reacting to the PG. It might help to list what you have been using, so we can try to help you find the root of the problem.

I mostly vape tabacco flavors. But one flavor in particular makes me really sick and i dont know why. That flavor is virginia wich kinda sucks for me because i liked it. For some reason no matter what the nic the virginia cartos just make me feel like i have gut rot. I would try other flavors rather then tabacco. But like some suggested tell us exactly what strength flavor your vaping so we can help. Also i thought it could be the pg but so i switched for a while and it was fine. But i tried all pg after and it was fine as well? Sometimes one small ingredient can affect you. Maybe you need to get use to it? I also you use 50/50 mix of pg vg usually and that seems to take the scratchy feeling from the pg and cut out the sick feeling i use to get in some other pg only juices. But i hope your vaping gets better. Its worth it not to give up just yet. Learn more about flavors and mixes. Other vendors also sell unflavored juice. This might be the ticket too.

I would just switch to fruit flavors or vanilla. If you are vaping high nic and smoking analogs, it will make you sick. If you can find the right flavor, I promise that analog will start to taste disgusting after a few days. I too had a hard time quiting the cigs at first until I found the right flavor and company, then I have never wanted to pick up a cig since. If I treated vaping like smoking I would use 36 mg and puff on it like a cig. Since I vape heavily, I stick with 18 mg all day and do just fine. I hope you can stick it out and if you don't that is okay too. At least you tried and don't beat yourself up.

In general, it sounds like you're getting too much nicotine. Either reduce conventional cigarette intake (hopefully, your goal anyway) or reduce your nicotine strength for vaping.

Nausea is a key sign of being a little heavy on the nicotine. Take a nic break, flush yourself out with some water, eat some carbs and feel better!! :)

555, Parliament and Hilton are good but I really don't like Kamel.

Ditto. May be Green Parlament, also. I can tolerate those, but I don't love them. I take maybe 3-4 puffs of tobacco a day, mostly to just use them up. My happy flavors are choc/cappucino and SMILIN/mint, I have usually one of each going. I like Pear and Pineapple, from the sample fruit bowl. I haven't tried the new fruit flavors yet. But nicotine strength is critical. I smoked Virginia Slims Ultra Lights, just under a pack a day, and 11 mg is all I can take. I alternate between 8 and 4 and it keeps me, most of the time, out of trouble. And don't chainvape, whatever you do. Your lungs were designed to take in oxygen, not vapors of any kind. High nic strengths combined with chainvaping is a really bad idea, like so many of you pointed out. See above and elsewhere on this forum. Enforce vaping breaks, just like we did with cigs.
