OK - found out that my husband had heart problems, needed three stints put in, and had to quit smoking immediately. Was desperate to quit myself in hopes of supporting him. So....before bringing him into hospital clicked on the ad on FB and took the free e-cig trail with payment of $5 shipping. Home from hospital - trying my ecig and found this board and forums. Read that it was probably a scam - panicked of course cause I am in that mode right now - and called to cancel membership (future shipment of refills) Guy on phone actually agreed to let me cancel without issue and gave me a confirmation number. Told me I could keep the ecig trial pack with no additional charge and thanked me for trying it. I can't even tell you name of company because only co name I see anywhere is e-cigs.... So ....now I have the kit for only $5 which is great because finances are in a really bad spot with uninsured medical expenses and can really benefit from a cheap starter kit.....But I am stuck with the question of where can I get refills? I am thinking different brands are not compatible with each other? Do you think I stand a snowball's chance in summer of finding cartridges from another brand or supplier that will work with them? I did try to read everything for new members but I am still pretty confused on how to use the ecig (my emotional state of mind may be making me stress stupid) Thanks in advance to anyone who can give me some help or steer me to where I should be reading to answer this question.

Go to the ECF Library and look at pictures of various Ecigs in the Wonderful World of Vaping. Almost any Ecig available, except for the newest will be picture in full color. Decide what you have and find out what accessories are available for it. The battery is the most important part. You can interchange atomizers, cartridges, and cartomizers once you know. Juice is available and it is universal for all Ecigs.

You can get a Riva starter kit here for $29.95. Click on the 20% off icon to change the prices, scroll down to Riva on the left column, and search for the Riva 510 Lite bundle. You get 2 Riva Ego style 750mah batteries, two atomizers, a cone, and a charger in a nice box for $29.95. They also process your order quickly, have low shipping rates, and great customer service.

Hi Elizabeth, I'm so sorry to hear of all the stress you're having... especially when you are trying to figure out the e-cig on top of it.

You can refill the cartridges/cartomizers (we need to figure out what model you have) so don't worry about that. You'll need to start buying liquids. There is a New York Vaping social group. I suggest you join and they'll be able to give you lots of help in person Upstate NY Vapers Club Send a PM to View Profile: JonnyVap£ - E-Cigarette Forum for more information.

There are also suppliers in New York. Perhaps you can find one that can help you out in person VaporSearchUSA I believe there are at least 10 in NY.

Best place on the forum for you to start is the ECF Library. The ECF Library Reading this first can really help http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ping-illustrated-guide-e-cigs-part-1-6-a.html (be sure to read all 6 parts!).

Welcome to vaping and ECF!

Thanks so much everyone for helping me try to get thru this. I also lost my Dad to lung cancer this year and have taken over part time care of mom - so my stress level has been through the roof since January. Finding you guys to help with this means more to me than I can tell you. Hellen - that is not the offer but that does look like the model that I have. I just took three pictures to show you mine and will now be trying to figure out how to post the pictures - bear with me a minute while I try.

New here and I'm awaiting my trial now. I went with the Regal eCig here Home page but after finding this forum and doing a little research I'm pretty sure I'll be cancelling future deliveries and charges to my credit card.

The only thing I'd say about your trial is make sure you read the fine print. Mine says that unless I cancel my trial within 14 days (after only paying the $4.95 shipping fee) my card will be charged $119 for the starter kit and then $50 montly for future cartridge refill shipments.
