So I've been vaping for about 3 weeks now. At first very casually, but now that I'm enjoying it more and more and vaping frequently I have a few questions that are hopefully easy to answer but could help me big time.

With that said right now I have a ego c-Twist with a Kanger t3-d clearo.

1. I'm seeing some liquid on the round contact part of my ego, common sense is telling me it's leaking out through the bottom of the coil/head. The coil I had in previously was even leaking all round the whole inside of the tanks housing so I threw it out (lots of dry hits too). Are Kanger td-3's just problematic? Seems like it nothing but problems for me at times...

2. For the reason above and also just looking for an upgrade, I'm looking for a new tank. Seems like the top dogs in the mini clearo category are Nautilus Mini, Aerotank mini or Protank 3 mini. I feel like I see more talk of the Nautilus mini, would you recommend it over an Aerotank mini? (never had something with adjustable air flows, seems like a great thing to have...)

3. I know this has been asked hundreds of times but seeing as how I'm new, I'm concerned with making sure I'm getting authentic hardware, but what is a good, trustworthy online retailer? I see threads here and there about how people can get knock off coils and the such. I'm not looking for the fastest shipper or anything, just a good, trustworthy retailer.

1) most people I know that have tried/started with kanger t series tanks upgrade at some point. Some tiny amount of liquid on the contact points is pretty common with tanks that pull air up to the coil from the post area via little holes by the threading. My wife uses the full sized aerotanks and loves them, we never tried the nautilus as we are happy with her gear, I rather use rebuildables so my issues are way different.
2) I would highly recommend the aero mini since you have a variable voltage battery would be nice since you can adjust power and air flow to find the perfect vape.
3) Trust worthy vendors will all really depend on each person's experience with said vendor. I personally use madvapes for most basic stuff or local shops. See whats in your area and how they are priced. Most brick and mortars tend to price jack, some are slightly above cost of online. Your best bet is to see what a google search yields and go from there.

As I mentioned for #3 everyone will vary on suppliers, joesquid uses a company I tried and wasn't satisfied with. Not saying they aren't good or reliable but my dealings with them were less then kosher and that will happen with every supplier that does a lot of business. Some one will love them and someone will rather avoid them its all a matter of preference.

Nearly all Kanger clearomisers do this. I gave up on them after 2 years and have moved across to Aspire.

I used the T3S for 6+ months, but always with homemade coils and wick.

T3D was one of the worst. Then again, evod 2, glass and protank 3 were just as bad. Something to do with the dual coils not making great vape and me pulling too hard, I expect.

Spizzel, here you will find service and questions answered. Many of us have had the same experience with B&Ms. The internet is cheaper and service, like any internet business, is generally good. You can always just ask for experiences with a particular site. I really try to stick with only what I have experience with and most others do to.

All-in-all, there is a lot of info in these forums and there is a search function in the upper right corner. Or, just ask. I really read a lot and it helped me. Actually, it still helps me.

I was a Protank 2 user. Then a Nautilus mini. Because they use different coils, I would stick to one or the other.

On another note, if you are quitting smoking like me, I would get a spare system for when something breaks. I keep mine in the car. Never really far from that.

I hope you happy vaping.

Don't know who starting waving the American flag on the Chinese invention to make 'Authentic' (more profit). It's B.S. Good and bad Mechanist can be found anywhere. I've got 10 Mech Mod, RDA and RTA clones and not one problem. So far I've found the biggest and best price collection at Vivid Smoke and Vape Royalty. But hay...this E-cig thing is like a freight train out of control with all the new websites selling. Which is making for great selection and price competition. I've also found that applying (lightly) a bit of gun oil to Mod threads and switch buttons works wonders for smoothing everything out in function. Think about the assembly and function of both guns and mods...pretty dam close. :)
