Hello my name is Justin and I am a new member to the site. I own a fifty one fifty Trio E-cig. I was wondering if anyone has heard of these and if they are considered a good quality E-cig? I have the original box and everything that came with it. Including a black style cartridge. The light turns blue on mine.

Thanks for your time,

Justin Darnell

Hi, Justin. Welcome to ECF and CONGRATS on your great decision to quit smoking :toast:

It seems that you did what many of us (myself included) did in the beginning... you got a convenient cig-a-like. I'm afraid you will find that it is just enough to tease you! We all have a love/hate relationship with those things. So many of us wasted money and peace of mind trying to make a go of them. HOWEVER, they are just enough to make us realize that this is a very do-able way of quitting and we searched out different and better ways of vaping.

Please let us know how much you smoked and what your budget limitations are (if any). You will most likely want to upgrade real quick-like and many here on this forum can make great recommendations when that time comes.

This forum is definately the best place for you at this point in your journey!

I agree, way over priced for what it is. Looks like they have both D1's & D2's on their site. Looks like the Trio is a KR808-D2.
If they get you off cigarettes they have done their job, but when it comes time to resupply I would look to the list of vendors here on ecf.

First one I bought. Not very good IMO. And they have 510 compatible threads( at least the one I bought did-maybe they have changed batteries), so you may be able to use a 510 carto with them.

I was suckered into a program that offered the Fifty One Trio for "Free" ($4.95 S/H)
It is my own fault for not reading the agreement closely enough. So I'm not blaming the company that offered it.
But I failed to cancel the "Program" within the trial period and it ended up costing me another $99.00 for the
"Free" starter kit unit. On top of that it would have been another $75.00 a month for refill supplies.

I only ordered it to try it and compare it to other devices I already have.
But silly me, I didn't cancel in time to avoid the $99 charge.

So now I have a Fifty One Trio that cost me over $100.00 and it pales in comparison to my other devices.
I have "Higher End" devices that hold more e-liquid, has Longer lasting battery, Produce more Vapor and Cost less than $100

But to answer your question. It does work well for what it is. And I am not knocking the device.
It has a convenience factor for me that is that it is small and can be carried in the pocket and I can take a Hit off of it while at work and not cause a problem with co-workers.

It's Just the cost I ended up paying for it.
I could have gone out to any convenience store out on the interstate and find similar devices for around $50

A hard lesson learned on my part.
I'm still kicking my self in the .... for that one.

There is much better stuff out there, and you can get it for less than what you are paying.
