So I don't know much about Twitter...

The tweets with a "@" are being sent TO someone?
Whereas the tweets without an "@" will only be seen by people that follow you?

- That's the gist of it. Also, if you want to start a tweet directed at someone (i.e. @SenJoeVitale) but you'd like your followers to see it, simply put a "." in front of the "@". You can also do that when you're replying to someone by clicking on "reply" at the bottom of their tweet. It's a good way to let ppl know that you're having a conversation and would like them to join/see what's going on.

...or something like that :)

Also, I updated the post to include the news from California.

You can read all about it here: Roger Dickinson's Senior Aide Confirms Defeat of AB 1500

Yeah, I don't have any followers, and never use Twitter except for this, nor do I ever plan to.
In fact, I would rather live in a cave before I live in a world where using Twitter becomes some sort of necessity.

And just yesterday that world poked it's head into our life in a most rude manner when my wife went to workout and found her class had been cancelled.
Apparently they had sent a tweet to let people know it had been cancelled, and it was also posted on their Facebook page.

Neither of us Twitter, and neither of us Facebook, and we like it that way.
Just like we like it when kids stay off of our freaking lawn.

Anyway, the point being is that it seems it would be a waste of time for me to just Tweet things out to the random universe.
So I just send the ones that are directed TO someone.
:)
