OK - really a repeat from yesterday, but not having one today just means that those of us who didn't do it then can do it now.

Fight for Your Right to #vape - Daily Action Plan for Tuesday, 08.26.14
___
We’re continuing down the list of Attorneys General with a second round of tweets challenging their notion that the proposed FDA regulations for #ecigs need to be more strict.

This actions action is nice and well meaning and may even get some to change their thinking BUT I live just outside Chicago and yeaterday saw a news story AND a commercial about regulating vaping. In wholeheartedly believe the regfs are going to happen no matter what. The taxes are what the gov is seeing.I also think big tobacco may be pouring money into both ends of OUR vaping lives.I may just be cynical but things like this are tough to fight.I am constantly donating to NRA for my other habit.THAT said I still love thatbthere is a group dedicated to us.THANX!

It will only happen if people (such as yourself) don't do anything.
Regulation will not happen if enough people fight it.
If it does happen, we can either roll over and be doormats, or we can continue to fight for the freedom to persue an activity that so far has been proven to be less hazzordous than driving a car.

Oh, and I don't belong to the NRA. I don't own a gun. That doesn't stop me from donating. :) or pointing out the facts of over regulations there either.

It only takes a few seconds out of my day. Not often but once in a while I do receive a decent response. Better to try and fail rather than not try at all.

That's cute.i answer honestly by prior experience and I'm labeled "someone like me',well that's ok.i do write officials, fill out polls too.it seems like a lot of people think that is enough.well it isn't .if people want to really get involved, emails to your elected officials are a great place to start, every day every week and so on.trust me,they get thru.dont know how many people realize how close it was the past few years in the firearms debates and only by voting, emailing did we at least for awile effect some of our views.this is no different with vaping.i am also passionate about this and am just trying to warn about just doing the minimum.so before judging, try asking questions or having a dialogue .nice thing bout forums is we can literally talk with ALL kinds of people that share like ideas.

Yep.like I said people like yourself. People willing to do what it takes. I did read your post before I answered and was not judging you. Just pointing out that we need more people like you. Personally, I'm a novice at political action, people like me can use all the guidance we can get. :)

I may ,well did misunderstand the response.I am sorry.Just so used to forums and the trolls that attack first for no reasons.I have found in my short time on ECF, it really seams the people on here are genuine and seem to be connected like a community or just plain friends.Getting involved isn't hard but it does take commitment. It seems and probally is that most on here care and will fight for OUR rights.THAT IS AWESOME! these call to actions are a great place to start.with a little luck,we wont be regulated back to cigs.keep our fingers crossed, cause we will need some luck also.

Yeah... I tend to stay from flaming forums myself. :) no offense taken on my end. Glad we cleared it up.
And I really wish we had more people like yourself to help the many, many people like myself.
I'm a terrible letter composer, but I do my best and hope it helps. Maybe if CASSA or The Vaping Militia could get more donations, or even a different organization... We could have someone that would offer help in those areas too.
In the mean time, I managed to save $2000 for the later legal action I expect... Then totaled my truck and will have to see where I'm at after that.
We need to save now for actions like that, I think.

I think a good way for us vapers to be ready is to learn all we can, which may include a lot more diy aspects of vaping.I don't think our way of life is going to change,BUT may get more expensive.I still believe that big tobacco sees the prophet in this and will at least behind the scenes buy up a lot of the online companies, hell that's how I would play it.keep up the good fight and spread the word, just remember, the gov does what it wants in the end.keep eyes and ears open.
