I have been researching for weeks now and am more than ready to finally purchase an e-cig. Was pretty much sold on the 510 but smoke 1+ packs a day so I think I have finally settled on the Titan Mega. juice is the last piece of the puzzle.

Questions:

1. Need to find the right e-liquid. Enjoy Marlboro lights, parliments and Dunhills (actually like Dunhills best but not convenient to buy them everywhere so they are a special treat). Can anyone suggest a juice that would satify that need?
2. Which juice works best with 510 mega? PG, VG, PG/VG or doesn't really matter?
3. PG, VG, PG/VG? What are the differences?
4. Thinking a 5 or 10 pack sampler would be good, can anyone suggest a good vendor?

Just lost on the whole juice thing and I truly think that is the most important part of the vaping experience! Please help!

I haven't actually had any first hand experience, but people rave about Backwoods Brew. They don't have a web site, but this thread explains how to order.

In addition, the people at FreedomSmokesUSA put out some terrific juices and they do sample 3 mL sizes in 24 mg nic, or 5 mL sizes in a variety of nic (from 0 up to 36). The juices from here are some of the very few juices that I can actually taste.

FreedomSmokeUSA

In both cases, you might drop them an email and explain what you're looking for and they may be able to best guide you as to what is appropriate. As to PG/VG/mix, it ends up being a matter of preference. It is said that PG contributes to throat hit and VG to vapor, so if one of those is more important than the other to you, you could lean that way. I personally use a 70/30 PG/VG mix so I can get the best of both worlds. Hope this helps.

Most people recommended that I start with a 80%PG/20%vg. PG gives you more TH and VG gives you more vapor. Some suppliers let you choose your mixture and others just have 100% of one or the other. I like a 90/10% personally. (The 100% is a little too thin for me). I like lots of TH but don't care much about the vapor.

I cannot help you with a supplier because I use several. I would suggest looking for a supplier who sells sample size. And, remember that your tastes may change as time passes.

I'm still in the trying to replicate a cigarette phase also which I'm told will pass once I open up to the world of juices that are out there.

I ordered a special on tobacco flavors that freedomsmokeusa was running a few weeks ago. I thought the mellow sunset was really good and was close to a light cigarette but the one that hit my sweet spot was a sample they threw in, wyatt earp. I find myself going back to it after every one of the samples I try and the more I vape it the more I like it. I would say give one or both of those a shot.

I've been checking out viking vapor lately also and they are definitely on my list to order from. There smoke flavors get great feedback especially the cherry and apple and the prices are awesome.

Thanks all for your responses. Was reading through the E-Liquid Review threads and came across Backwoods Brew which I will try out but I think I will go to Freedomsmokes or Johnson Creek since I need to set up a new paypal account to get anything from Backwoods.

Guess I have read about TH vs Vapor for PG vs VG but I must have forgotten!! Have read so much the past couple of weeks I just want to GET STARTED ALREADY!!!

I tried a couple hits from a mall kiosk and didn't like the TH on it. Coughed before I could finish a good drag on it. The second hit was a bit better. Guess I just need to try it out and experiment.

Guess I will be mixing liquids before I know it. I would much rather find someone to make them for me though lol....I'm lazy like that.

Thanks again for the help. I just finished my order and can't wait for it to arrive. I ended up going with FSUSA and got way more than I should have!

Got the Wyatt Earp and Mellow Sunset along with about 6 other flavors. Hope one of them hits the spot.

The only thing is that on the flavors that don't let you choose the PG/VG mix, I have no idea what the mix will be or if it will be 100%....

I was basically going to recommend these two vendors also. BB's 555 is very good. I pretty much like all the 555 I've tried with different venders but BB's edges them out. FSUSA's 555 is also very good. And though I never in a million years would have thought I'd like something other than a base tobacco flavor I got a sampler of "Strawberry twist" from FSUSA and it surprised the heck out of me. I loved it! Just ordered some more.

That's something else you can read up on before your juice arrives.

There's a technique to vaping which isn't quite the same as dragging on an analog. Take a long, slow drag, pull the vapor into your mouth, let a bit trickle out, then inhale.

It's really easy to get used to. There are a whole bunch of threads on it.

Btw, I gave a friend of mine a drag on my PV last night, and he just about choked too. Tried to smoke it like a cig - lol.

I'll say this, hardware is easy, the juice is the tough part and the most rewarding.

You will find that the first juice flavor that gives you real satisfaction will, in the majority of cases, not be a flavor you would have thought.

I always recommend getting as large of a selection, in small bottles, of flavors that sound good and a few that don't. Different strengths too.

Learning to vape will come. It is not smoking. Learning about your hardware is easy. Learning which juice works for you is a surprise.

I just got my first order from freedomsmokeusa.com and I am digging it. So far i've been loving the almond flavor. and i've tried a couple of the others but not enough to judge them yet - they are pretty strong and flavorful though. the RY4 i ordered will probably be an acquired taste but it sure beats the crap out of the stuff i ordered from the company i bought my starter kit from. The almond is probably gonna be my daily vape for awhile but I'll be digging into those other flavors soon. I only wish i had picked out one bottle of something sweet and fruity! :) (the tobacco flavors don't even really sound appealing to me much anymore but the wyatt earp sample was NOT bad :)

But I'm not advertising for them I'm just stating I'm happy with my purchase. The best thing you can do is take some of the suppliers getting reviews in these forums and order small bottles of a variety of flavors and pg/vg mixes. Once you find what you like then get the bigger bottles.
