Filament material ?

Hello,

i'm new on this forum, i own a french eshop for ecigs, and i'm actually building a new mod.

I'm actually making the electronic parts, and for that i need some information about filament.

Is there anyone who know what kind of material is used for filament ?

Tungste, nickel, steel ... i don't really know that.

Is there some expert to enlight me ?

I believe it's nichrome wire can't remember the right gage to get... (don't quote
either 20 or 30?)

Thank you, are you sure that we're talking about the same thing, filament, not metal foam ?

I had knew that metal foam was in nickel but about single filament ?
