There are 3 major name-brand carto manufacturers: Boge, Ikenvape, and Smoktech. Smoktech is the only manufacturer who makes dual coil cartomizers (they make both dual and single coil). Everyone has their own preference between brands and also between single vs dual coil. I can only suggest you try them all and see which you prefer; single
coils are the most popular. Cartomizers are available in two lengths: 35mm and 45mm; the longer variety will hold more liquid.
Cartomizers are available in different "resistances", or with different "ohm ratings". This determines how hot the coil will heat up. Typically single voltage
batteries use a LR (low resistance) or SR (standard resistance) carto. The lower the ohm number the warmer its vapor. Variable voltage batteries perform better with a HR (high resistance 3.0 ohm) coil.
Using a drip tip as a mouthpiece is recommended for more comfort when using a cartomizer. Adequate filling of the carto the first time is critically important, and topping off the carto with more
e-liquid is important to prevent burning of the absorbant filler material in the carto. Once it is burnt you will never get that bad taste removed. Cartomizers can be used solo, or used in a cartotank. Cartos are available with "pre-punched holes" especially for use in a cartotank. Using a cartotank allows automatic refilling of the cartomizer each time you take a vape.

Most online vendors sell either Boge or Smoktech cartomizers, or both. Ikenvapes are sold only from their own website. I have a list of vendors below who sell the pre-punched variety for cartotanks; once on a particular website you can find the unpunched models.
