filling the joye ego xl cartomizers

i found a youtube video of a guy filling one of these and it seemed pretty intense...
he took off both of the protective caps off of the mouth piece and then stuck a syringe filled with juice through another plastic piece and then filled...

Is there no condom method or any easier way of doing this, if not ill probably just stick with the 510s..

I've tried them and found 'em to be a royal PITA. Not worth the bother...at all.
